7/10The restaurant was really busy so we expected a wait for the food. Service was very good but food was overpriced for what it was. Very few vegetables with the meal. Good ambience and great maitre D

5.5/10We arrived early but was shown to our table with no waiting around…unfortunately it went down hill from there… the drinks order was wrong and then I was served a different sandwich from the one I ordered and then they forgot the chunky fries….BUT all issues were rectified swiftly and our wonderful newly appointed waitress did an excellent job of smoothing over the errors made and even gave us a little discount on our bill which was a lovely gesture.

9/10We went there for lunch to celebrate my birthday . The service was prompt and the staff were very courteous. The food came hot and there was plenty of it. We look forward to Our next visit to the Cromwell Cottage.

3.5/10We use this restaurant for its quality and service also the ambiance yesterday was so disappointing mushrooms were tasteless prawns no sign of chilli. Main course steak ordered as medium rare came as rare. waitress was so miserable. For the price a really bad experience will not use again or recommend

10/10The food takes a bit of time to come but then you would expect it to as it is freshly cooked to your liking. The quality is always excellent and we have never been disappointed. It is our favourite restaurant locally

7.5/10Busy restaurant. Friendly staff. Food OK. Roast chicken perhaps kept on a warming plate which resulted in it being a little dry. Big portion. Ceasar salad good. Puddings -Lemon posset nothing special. Crumble good but custard tasted like Bird's. Very quick service. ?

9.5/10Went for Sunday lunch. Very busy so a little wait for the food. When it arrived it was well worth the wait. Huge serving. Excellent roast dinner. Well cooked and well presented. Friendly and welcoming staff.
