Food was good but lacking in garnish and presentation. Requires more thought and creativity from the chef. The atmosphere was good but music a little loud for diners wishing to have a conversation. Perhaps the DJ could be positioned away from diners or the dining area shuffled around to provide the opportunity for conversation without shouting.

We had a warm welcome. My first choice for main course was not available. I feel that the menu choices rarely change, very much the same as the last time I visited in September.

I booked a meal for 7 people online. Quick and simple way of making a booking. Lovely atmosphere and food was of a very good standard. We travelled from Walsall and several members of the party said they would be going back with their families. Service was great too with friendly staff. Lots of parking space is available.

We were greeted very well and shown to our table. Our order was taken efficiently, but we were given the wrong starters, the food was tasteless and very over priced. The wine was extremely over priced. Quite disappointing. I doubt we will dine at The Crown for a very long time. The food needs to be tasty and all the prices to be more realistic.

Service a little slow, had to go to bar to get drinks whilst waitresses standing chatting. No one came to ask if we wanted a sweet, had to attract waitress eye and call her over
