3/10Having been regular weekly lunchtime goers, which is always first class, my wife and I decided we would have Sunday lunch. Very disappointed, it wasn't very warm to start with, then having to wait a further 4 minutes for the vegetables to arrive didn't help an already cool meal. Not much more to say other than we won't be having a Sunday lunch there again.

Went to the Curlews this evening. The food was lovely. Kate our waitress was really nice and friendly. She is an asset to the Curlews. Will definitely be going again.

10/10Lovely warm welcome at this wonderful restaurant. Obviously the staff enjoy their work and give excellent service. The food is superb, very well cooked and piping hot, quick too. Great choice on the menu. Will absolutely return. Thank you.

10/10We love coming here for either lunch or dinner with friends or on our own . We usually ask for table 34 which is set in a little alcove. The Curlew has a lovely ambiance about it and the parking is good too.

7/10We have been there before a couple of times but this time it didn't live up to the standard we were expecting. But to be fair with the nationwide shortness of staff and the increasing costs involved I have some sympathy with the Curlew Perhaps we could try again later in the year. Regards. Peter.

9.5/10The Curlew has a welcoming entrance and staff are attentive. Shown to table immediately. Drinks order taken within 5 mins. Extensive menu and wine list. Food was delicious - beautifully presented too. Service was fast and pleasant.

10/10We thoroughly enjoyed the lunch. Two had the salmon fishcakes whilst the other two had the beef brisket with pan fried potatoes. We have been there before and wanted to return with different friends. At least the weather was a little cooler so we sat outside. Great ambience, great place to eat! Definitely going again.

+2Thought we’d try this restaurant as it’s both part of the Fork scheme and had excellent reviews. It was everything we’d hoped for, attentive, helpful, pleasant staff, excellent food (only criticism would be the portions were a bit big for some of us, not such a bad thing for others ????). We were not rushed and had a table just where I’d requested. Thank you.

10/10We had a lovely lunch with friends today. I had requested on the booking form for a nice quiet corner and when we arrived we were shown to a lovely table set in an alcove. Our waitress looked really festive with a Christmas Headband . Her name was Emma and she was so professional with her waiting service to us nothing was too much trouble even down to finding me some apple sauce for my mains of Pork. Although we didn’t opt out for the festive menu 2 of us asked if we could have Christmas Pudding . Emma checked with kitchen and they were happy to serve it to us. Coffee was brought soon after puddings no waiting although the restaurant was busy. 10/10 Emma

9.5/10I took my wife out for a treat as I had been working away for a while and thought it would be nice to just go out. I booked as we had eaten at the Curlew before and had not been disappointed. I'm pleased to say that the food was again excellent , my wife's steak was perfect and my belly pork was divine and was accompanied with a cool gin and tonic. We will be going back again!

Everything at the Curlew was outstanding. This was the best meal out that I have had in months. I can highly recommend the Belly Pork and the incredible white chocolate flower pot. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Our server, Emily was great from start to finish. She was attentive, informative and really lovely all evening. We will definitely be returning.

10/10Good food and really varied menu, something for everyone. Excellent service. We had a baby with us and they were really nice with her, getting a high chair and making sure we could have her where we wanted at the table.

10/10We dined with friends I requested a quiet corner and we got just that ! Although it’s half term and lots of diners we still had excellent service. Important to me the toilets were spotless. Cheerful waitress wearing a mask as did other staff members! Well Done

10/10We (4 of us) ate at the restaurant on Sunday 26/9. The restaurant was fully booked (even the tables in the garden were taken), and so we expected a long wait for our food, and slapdash service - but we couldn't have been further from the mark. The food was excellent and service was prompt (but didn't feel like they were chasing us). As for the food, the baked scallops starter was a real star - and the mains (Halloumi x2, Sirloin of Beef x1 and Chicken x1) were really good. The portions were more than enough (we all left something), and so we didn't have room for dessert. Will definitely be going back :-)
