Lunch for seven on a wet and windy day. Food was excellent and attractively presented. The service was excellent, with happy, helpful staff, although the restaurant was not crowded at 2.30pm. Importantly, the bar and restaurant rooms were not crammed into the place - there was room to breathe. Also, the carpeted floor in the restaurant area made a huge difference to the acoustics - we could enjoy the food and the conversation. I'd be happy to recommend the Devil's Dyke to anyone.

The meal was ok, my sister had a very poor meal which was hunters chicken, not hunters chicken at all, presentation shocking, not triple cooked chips, frozen chips! Won’t be going again. Waitress was very nice a really lovely lady who was very attentive.

This restaurant was great for a family lunchtime meal before a long walk over the south downs. The service we received from Tasha was excellent, the food was well cooked and delicious and the view from our table was amazing. We will be back, well done Devils Dyke restaurant

We’ve eaten here before many times but this lunchtime’s offering was disappointing.took quite a while to arrive, portions seemed smaller than previously, mash potatoes tasted like it was out of a packet. The place si still in a great location.
