8.5/10Good kitchen, but the "rapport qualité-prix" not balanced. Chef could do better. One of the first times, that I almost felt hungry by leaving the table. Good tastes, but to poor what you get on your plate.

5/10Not worth the price. The service was sluggish and inattentive. I'm embarrased to say we ordered 4 slices of toasted old bread and butter for £5. My husband ordered a double gin and only got a single (which was ultimately corrected when we told the server the order was wrong). I ordered the pesto linguini for £18 which turned out to be box spaghetti with jarred pesto sauce. The cocktails I ordered were decent, but this "restaurant" is definitely not a advertised in their website.

10/10Absolutely loved the ambience and decor of this gorgeous restaurant! The staff were exceptional and the food amazing!!! We loved the pre dinner drink options and our waiter (sorry can’t remember his name but he was born in Athens) was spot on with his food and wine pairings. A very very enjoyable meal!

2.5/10We had a booking for 21h. The buses were very late, so I tried calling the restaurant, continuously, from 20:15 onwards, and texted them later as well. We got there at 21:30 only to be told they'd sent the kitchen staff home, before 21h, and giving us no excuse whatsoever neither from not answering us not for leaving us without a meal and not receiving us. It was a Friday night and the restaurant is in a Hotel, my friend Patricia, a fashion and travel journalist coming in from Portugal, couldn't believe what she was witnessing, it was something that would never happen back home or in any southern Europe country, the complete lack of welcoming and care. They didn't offer us absolutely anything to eat or drink.

10/10The venue is a bit out the Center, but so worth it. The venue is warm, welcoming, the person taking care of present, but not intrusive. She came in time to offer more tea, the selection of food for the afternoon tea was excellent, fresh, tasty... One could not pick the favorite. One of top 5 teas I've had so far in the whole UK:)

10/10I had made the booking in good time but alas the wrong day!! The hotel were so accommodating to ensure that we could still enjoy our afternoon tea today. We are so grateful to have had a lovely time.

10/10My husband and I enjoyed an afternoon tea here and it was delightful. I have several dietary restrictions and they were happy to work with what I needed. And the food was delicious. Such a nice way to enjoy our final afternoon in Edinburgh.

Lovely restaurant! We had a great experience in our first ever “afternoon tea” celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary, very attentive people. They even wrote us a welcome note with congratulations. Food was very good, and they have a variety of tea flavors. I chose strawberry apple tea and I love it. Love the ambiance and table setting too..

7/10Dreadful menu, poor choice, overpriced, never to be repeated. Since being taken over the standard has fallen dramatically. Used to be an excellent venue with reasonably priced menu.

10/10Perfect venue to meet old friends. Great food and service. Convivial surroundings. Well stocked bar and a knowledgeable and accommodating bar manager. Very enjoyable evening.

10/10The relaxed atmosphere of the bar / lounge extended to the laid-back yet attentive and efficient staff. At no time did we feel hurried which epitomises a traditional afternoon tea.
