7.5/10We had a fantastic time at the restaurant. The reasons for the lower stars are: We ordered carrots as a side for our main dish and they never came. We had to ask for it to be removed from the bill because the dish never arrived. One of the waiters was unsure of the menu and kept having to ask someone else for clairty. After we paid the bill and went to leave the waiter came back and said a drink wasn't added to the bill and wanted to charge separately. We of course are happy to pay that, but found it odd that it wasn't on the original bill. We watched as another waiter then reprimanded him quite sternly in front of the guests, which we didn't find very approriate because the drink wasn't on the original bill. Other than those snafus, we enjoyed the dinner and the food (that actually came to the table).

We enjoyed a pleasant dinner. Everything exceeded our expectations. Good food and service. We were surprised that the restaurant wasn’t more busy based on our experience.

I want to try British food and I searched under the Fork and English Grill came up. We got seated in the booth table that can fit 4 persons. We chose the set menu and the food quality are good, the portions are generous. The food quality was great. It is a cosy restaurant with great ambiance. Definitely will recommend friends to go!

The food and ambiance were perfect. Service was thoroughly professional. Our only issue was that the pacing of the meal was a bit slow at 2.5 hours, two hours would have been ideal.

10/10We came in for a pre-theatre dinner because we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. From the ambience to the service, to the food, everything was outstanding. I was so amazed at the incredible service and attention to detail. I had sent an email with some requests, one of them being my diet, I’m a vegan. Wow did they ever deliver! Everything that was brought out, from the bread to the pre appetizer salad, had a delicious vegan version. I was so impressed with the care the staff took to make sure we had a lovely experience and just when I thought they had perhaps forgotten my request of bringing out a little birthday dessert for my boyfriend, they once again delivered! It was the perfect ending to a FANTASTIC experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a special night out and I hope when I’m in London again I’ll get a chance to dine here.

9/10Lovely and typical hotel setting, went there for breakfast and food, atmosphere, service were great but definitely not worth the bill! Overpriced for a breakfast, paid £35 for a yogurt and granola and paid £45 for an omelette !!

5/10We arrived on time at 17:45 & told all staff that we were going to a play, at 19:30. The service was slow, abominable & totally unacceptable, resulting in us having to cancel desert, as we had to go. We told the staff this & told them that we weren't paying the service charge. The restaurant wasn't overly busy at the time [as it only opened at 17:30], so it's difficult to pinpoint why service was so slow & completely sub standard.

2/10It took FOREVER for my food to come out. There were only 6 tables occupied and I was there for 2 hours. My food was dry and we were given food we did not order. The service was ridiculous- people just walked around and talked and did not do anything. 2 hours of my life i won’t get back.

10/10We enjoyed our meal last night. Tried the cured smoked salmon, and steaks for the main. All very good, the steaks were cooked perfectly, I tried the variety of sea salts on the meat

7.5/10It was very quiet until the singer introduced tea room next door started, 30 mins into my reservation. The service was LOVELY. My thoughts for wine were met with multiple options and I fell in love with the recommendation provided. All plates were divine. My entrée was not as my personal expectation foretold, but it didn't stop me from cleaning my plate.
