7.5/10I ordered the pie of the day which was a chicken and mushroom one. When it came it looked appetising, however when I lifted the pastry there were a few bits of chicken maybe one piece of mushroom and no sauce whatsoever. The server immediately agreed it was unacceptable and removed it and I changed my order to hunters chicken. To their credit the bill was reduced by 10% to reflect the fact . The serving staff were pleasant and apologetic but clearly they need to change their suppliers. Overall the restaurant was pleasant if slightly overpriced.

8.5/10The waitress was so nice. The starter and main was lovely. Unfortunately the dessert was incorrect and spent so long to come out, then to bring out a replacement they spent so long I had to cancel it as it was getting really late. That was quite a shame.

7/10We are regular diners here. There was a mix up over the booking which was soon resolved. The beef pie was swapped for a chicken pie which was not my wife's favourite, my gammon was very good. The crumble was excellent. The waitress ( who was new) was very friendly and helpful.

7/10Although the service was good as well as the food, the ambience and noise from adjacent table of our first seating was more conducive to a public bar. The second seating was equally as bad. Although there were about 20 dinners all enjoying there own company a further table close to bar had an exhibitionist female whose voice and laughter would have permeated the Pyramids. Both these "distractions" would prevent us coming back. Possibly this was a one off and not a true reflection of the usual clientele.

10/10We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and this was so handy. The food was good and they had all the allergy info which was really helpful (I am gluten intolerant). Very impressed and would recommend. Staff lovely and helpful.

7/10I've only given a 2 for service. The staff were friendly and helpful, but service was very slow. We were there over 2 hours for a lunch booking, and had to ask to order. This may be down to staffing issues, but it did detract from the overall experience. A pity, because everything else was very good.

9.5/10Food was great - I went for lower calorie options this time but there was no compromise on taste. Staff are always good here. They manage to be attentive without ever being overbearing. I really like it here. ????

4.5/10Booked so we could have a drink and chat before our meal and spend time after eating ,in the bar . On arrival we had to go to our table so it was fine . Asked what we would like to drink advised there was a lot on the wine menu they didn’t have however the wine we wanted was available Starter of portable mushrooms were button but were nice . Gammon steak was nice but the sad lettuce next to a hot meal I’ve never understood When we finished our main course asked for a bit time before ordering a desert we were informed the kitchen was closing in 5 mins (it was 7.20pm) We declined desert . We asked if we could move to the bar to have a bottle of wine and were told we were the only ones left and they would be closing soon managed to negotiate an hour till 8.30 pm at 8pm we were given the bill and asked to pay . We travelled especially to have a night out to eat and drink and catch up and had arranged a taxi for 9.30pm .If we knew you closed at 7.30-8pm we would have gone elsewhere this was not stated at booking and would not have wasted £20 taxi fares to travel from Kirkcaldy for 2 hours

9/10Our first choices of main and pudding had run out. Made us pick something else from our usual which wasn't a bad thing. Lovely meal with lovely friendly staff. Great service. Thanks x

7/10Love Fettykill Fox - first time back in two years. Having checked out a very interesting online Sunday menu we took visitors there for lunch. When we arrived I was really disappointed to see a very limited version of the online menu. I actually felt embarrassed, having built it up to our visitors. The meals were very nice but a shame to have to compromise given the misrepresentation of the online menu.

10/10Originally booked so that we could meet up in the middle of the afternoon which can be quite difficult but were delighted with the menu - a good combination of staples and things with an interesting twist. The service was very good - discreet but available and the place is charming.

9/10The service we received was excellent. The main course we had was very good. We ordered coffee with mini puds ans the coffee was good but we were a bit disappointed with the pud. Overall good value for money.
