10/10A great place to meet friends for lunch. The service was efficient but unhurried as we explained to our lovely waitress that we only met once a year and had a lot to catch up on. She understood and we were allowed plenty of time. Thank you.

8/10Nice place and lovely staff but we made the mistake of having the Roasts at 5pm on a Sunday and it had been obviously cooked much earlier in the day so was really disappointing, Would suggest that it would have been better if we had chosen from the normal menu.

10/10Warm welcome by the lovely lady with colour in her hair (?), and the care in where to seat us thanks to the blond lady who kindly took our photo at quite a busy time (sorry!). The waiter was sweet and attentive. Ambiance great and the food was delicious.

8.5/10We've eaten at the Firecrest on numerous occasions over 3 decades, and I don't recall ever having been disappointed either by the friendly service, lovely old fashioned ambience nor the food quality and all-round value for money. This latest visit (to celebrate a family birthday) was no exception.

9/10Everything lovely with friendly staff and good service. I had a tasty caesar salad with garkic bread which came with the option of chicken for a late lunch and felt it was a little small for a main course, otherwise would have given it 5 stars.

6/10We have eaten here many times as we love the atmosphere and generally the food has always been excellent. This evening the service was good but the food was disappointing. I had the mushrooms to start with which were overcooked followed by fishcakes which were small, flat and very watery. Sadly I was very disappointed this time.

9.5/10Service was excellent even though the restaurant was very busy. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. A very good menu and when the food came it was piping hot and beautifully presented.
