8/10Nice decor and food. Good balance with the service, allows you to enjoy the company and the food (timing was good, plus we weren’t pestered). I would definitely go again.

5.5/10Good was OK. All prepared i.e. chef not needed. Chose a bad day. Weather was dire Only 3 tables occupied. Place was like a morgue.

10/10It was a very nice atmosphere. The food good. Service good. A very nice setting with the canal. If the weather was better we would eat outside...maybe next time.

7.5/10Food was OK but disappointing in the end as the presentation was great but the quality didn’t match. The meat was dry and tough. For what it was I’d say the prices would be around 10% less.

10/10Went here on Tuesday night hoping it would be quiet. Very nice ambience, great location, no noisy music, excellent service from the girls and very good quality fish. Will go back very soon as I hear the Sunday roast is also excellent

7/10Very busy on a Friday evening and therefore rather noisy, OK if you are young but oldies may find conversation hard. Been before in daytime and no worries. Food not fab, llinguini had only four small prawns and four tiny bits of crab and LOTS of pasta! Other members of our party enjoyed their choices on the whole.

8/10This pub is welcoming and very p,easant. The service is good as is the food but it is quite pricey. When I booked I asked for a quiet table in the corner not near a party but we were next to a table with some very loud and unruly children whose parents were on another table. This should not have been allowed. However after we had been there about half an hour they finally left. They had been running around and shouting. I did say to a member of staff that it should not have been allowed but she did not seem able to do anything about it. A great pity.

5/10The place is lovely . It’s just a shame the food and staff don’t live up to the restaurant. Both the fish dishes (sea bass and salmon) were over cooked and dry. The pork belly had very little meat on it. The waiter dropped beer on my partner and spilt water all over the table. He also leaned over us all to clear rather than go around us. Very disappointing.

7.5/10They made a real effort for my daughters birthday. All meals were lovely except husband lamb was over cooked. They took some money off - we didn’t ask them to do this….waitress was very lovely. Quite cold where we were sitting

6.5/10We arrived to be told our booking through fork hadn’t been registered and they had no knowledge of it. We shared email confirmation etc and they did go out of their way to accommodated us, but we’re advised they were operating a limited menu which was meant no starters, just Sunday roast, we we’re hungry so opted for the roast, the service staff were good but the food was disappointing, hard roast potatoes, dry chicken and over cooked veg, shame as we were looking g forward to trying the food after the reverb, won’t be rising back.

8/10We arrived only find that the Fishery Inn did not have our booking on their online system. I assured them that I had had 2 reminders from The Fork to confirm my booking one by text and one through my email address. So not impressed with the Fork online booking. 4.5/10Service slow. Had to ask for drinks then - we waited and waited, in the end end had to ask where were our drinks, when drinks were eventually delivered, we asked to place our dinner orders to be taken. They were not busy, although they were serving outside. We were quite disappointed by our visit this time. We were earlier as we kept getting messages not to be late ??

7/10Unfortunately the fish finger in ciabatta was tasteless - the worst meal I have had at the Fishery - and I have been a regular for many years. Two of us had the fish and were both disappointed. Additionally your menu is rather"samey" - not as many varieties as in previous menus.

10/10My family and I had a most enjoyable time at the Inn. The food was excellent, with the staff attending to our needs. More than happy to come again and taste a different menu.

9.5/10The staff were attentive and when we asked to be moved to a quieter table (party of noisy children nearby) this was quickly dealt with. Our meal was well presented and delicious.

10/10Lovely atmosphere, food well cooked and presented and nicely served. My only criticism is the loud music on entering but when I mentioned it they turned down the volume straightaway.
