10/10We have been visited a few times and I don’t normally leave a review The pub reminds me of when I was a lot younger a very friendly atmosphere old style pub The staff are amazing good service with a huge smile nothing too much trouble The carvery is cooked from the heart a proper old school Sunday dinner if you like soggy veg and cold food like most carvery’s stay away keep it up guys see you on the 17th paul and Claire from York

4/10Friendly service from waitress , food was distinctly average . Not much selection for a carvery . Who has mushy peas with a roast dinner . No mash potatoes swede garden peas green beans or plain cauliflower if you don’t like cauliflower cheese . Most importantly the food needs to be hot .

6.5/10Placed next to a table of football thugs shouting and woke my baby up not even a sorry continued shouting bellowing was very angry to be put next ro the big television

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. After our telephone call this morning i did follow it up with a email. I reviewed the CCTV and spoke to every team member on shift yesterday. I am sorry you was sat by the TV. We do our best to give everyone the best experience while with us and as you can see from the review on that day we do care. We moved your table withing 4 minutes. The gents you call thugs are three of the nicest gents you will ever meet. The review is alittle out of context. As a gesture of good will a full refund has been issued. I will always investigate issues and give then the attention they deserve This is to support the team and our guest. Regards Adrian
