The service was really slow. We were there at 12pm and it was nearly 2pm by the time we left. Service needs to be a lot quicker to get working people in and out and back to work.

We had roast beef it was lovely, veg etc. were cooked to our taste and we were very happy with the staff and their attentiveness. We had a great table situated as requested. So all in all a great lunch.

This is our third visit to the Flying Horse recently and we have enjoyed the experience on all occasions. The food is cooked and presented very well and the service is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The menu gives a wide choice to suit all. We brought 2 friends with us today who were very impressed with their food and service. The young lady who served us today couldn't have been more helpful and was very efficient and friendly. We live fairly locally so hope to visit again very soon.

Fillet steak is thick and the quality is high. Halibut with giant couscous was surprising me. The tomatoes were sweet and fresh.

I am a bit of regular at this establishment and it never fails to deliver. It's one of those places you can take a guest and know they will not be disappointed. Great food. Lovely team. I look forward to returning soon.

Out for dinner with a friend. Great service, very friendly, disappointingly didn’t have the wine in which I wanted but substituted for another lovely red instead. Great food. Reasonably priced.

First time back after the overhaul and didn't disappoint! I miss the bar down the stairs but luckily got to chill by the new bar before our table was ready which was great as got to try the diffent gins on offer! when at the table we where really well looked after and service was quick the Steak was amazing cant wait to return

After ordering, 3 out of 4 of us waited over an hour to receive our meals, because one person ordered only a starter and the staff didn't bring the rest of the food at the same time as requested. This rather spoiled the evening.

Pizza didn’t have rocket on as mentioned in the menu. The side salad was the smallest I have ever seen. Not impressed. The meals were tasty though. Puddings were ok although my friend had sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. It wasn’t a scoop of ice cream more like teaspoon. I thought this was out of order because of the cost. I would like to comment on the service of the staff. Excellent. Tilly was polite and efficient. ????
