My daughter's meal incomplete, scallops were missing, they arrived 10 minutes later. The kitchen's were'nt busy so no excuse. Although our waitress was very helpful, no one came to the table until the end of the meal to ask if everything was alright. We were deafened by 2 small children screaming their head's off "playing", their mother's just ignored them. It would be more sensible for cutomer's like these to be seated at the end tables in the restaurant, not near the bar area. Just minor point's, but if you want repeat customer's might be worth noting.

Restaurant was warm and welcoming, we had New Year’s Day 3 course meal, starter excellent and served on hot plates, main meal really nice but plates were not as hot and the roast potatoes were not freshly made but it didn’t spoil the meal, dessert delicious. Staff were very attentive and friendly, would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Staff very friendly from the moment we went into the bar area. Service great, very informative, just a lovely relaxed vibe. Restaurant staff all very friendly and attentive. Menu excellent, served in good time, tasty well presented. Will definitely recommend and we will go back again, soon. Good experience.

The staff had actioned my request not to be tabled in the dining area, and had set aside a table in the bar area. That was very much appreciated. We enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch. The food here is prepared from good quality and flavoursome products and nicely cooked.. As usual, we were unable to try the desserts due to the size of the main course!

Very disappointing no beef no pork no dauphinois potatoes. Yorkshire pudding poor. Given half a chicken for the roast dinner rather than slices staff very apologetic. Just not good enough at the price. Spoilt my wife’s birthday

we visited at a very quite time but unfortunately were sat at the next table to the only other guests. One of there party was hard of hearing. and their conversation totally dominated our meal. The service was very attentive, unfortunately a little over attentive. I’d not finished my meal before the staff we removing my plate, I was still eating and couldn’t answer. The food was amazing and we’ll definitely be returning despite the slight negatives.

Hi, We have not been for a long time to the Fox, however we joined some friends and I have to say a great atmosphere, good surroundings and excellent food its nice not to have been chased harried to the table, this was relaxing and we enjoyed the evening. We will certainly be coming back for more..
