Four of us went for dinner on a Monday evening. The restaurant is in the Franklin Hotel a boutique hotel off the beaten track in South Kensington. The menu is Italian and food was good and priced reasonably. We thought the wine was also well chosen but not inexpensive - I don't think there was a bottle on it for under £60. We were only one of a set of three diners in the entire restaurant so great for conversation but reduced its ambience but then again, it was a Monday so possibly gets busier as the week progresses.

Food is a hit and miss. Nice bread and red prawn. Burger is good but not really worth the price, even with 50% off. Staff members were nice but weren't very attentive.

Service was excellent. Pasta dishes were delicious. The mains were good; felt like tomatoes weren’t quite ripe enough. Steak was good but not incredible. Ambience was hindered by it not being very busy. But overall a nice evening and dinner.
