7.5/10Four of us went for dinner on a Monday evening. The restaurant is in the Franklin Hotel a boutique hotel off the beaten track in South Kensington. The menu is Italian and food was good and priced reasonably. We thought the wine was also well chosen but not inexpensive - I don't think there was a bottle on it for under £60. We were only one of a set of three diners in the entire restaurant so great for conversation but reduced its ambience but then again, it was a Monday so possibly gets busier as the week progresses.

8/10Food is a hit and miss. Nice bread and red prawn. Burger is good but not really worth the price, even with 50% off. Staff members were nice but weren't very attentive.

8/10Service was excellent. Pasta dishes were delicious. The mains were good; felt like tomatoes weren’t quite ripe enough. Steak was good but not incredible. Ambience was hindered by it not being very busy. But overall a nice evening and dinner.

10/10We had a wonderful evening at the Franklin Restaurant!!! Attenti ve and professionali service, the food was spectacular, starting from the bread and canapees, we had the prawns, which was so fresh and tasty, the melanzana salad also fresh and tasty, as main course the O'mare nero, where you can see the research and passione on the plate, the spaghettone with cacio e pepe with crab also very high quality. It is worth the trip to London for sure!!! Hope to come back soon to see what the Chef can do!!! Keep going

5.5/10Service was attentive and welcoming, ambiance was pleasant. The food was a disaster, the tuna in the appetiser stank and the prawns in the main were covered by so much sauce to cover the smell. I should have chosen the vegetarian dished. The desert was very good.

10/10We had a fabulous lunch at the Franklin. The quality of the food and the attention to details were phenomenal. We very much enjoyed the little twists of the chef on each dish, taking the experience to a whole new level. Kudos to the Staff, the service was wonderful. We were offered a great table and didn’t feel rushed. The wine list was also a highlight with a great selection at a fair price. A BIG thank you for making this birthday extra special and we look forward to our next visit.

9.5/10We went there for my daughters 21st birthday. The staff were very nice and welcoming and the food was surprisingly good considering the deal. We also got an amuse bouche and also some free chocolates to help her celebrate - we will go back there when we are next in the area. Thank you

5/10Besides the burgers the kood portions were small. Both my children fell ill after eating the burgers. The other 3 orders which included the fish, risotto and beetroot salad were not as we expected. Overall the service was good but food quality 5/10

10/103 visits over a 5 day in London. Loved every visit. Very talented chef, all the food we had was delicious, really had a good mix of the menu and everything was a winner. Service very good, especially on our 2nd visit, even brought us a selection of chocolate at the end with our bill. Definitely one of our very best fork experiences. The hotel is also excellent as we have stayed here too. Top marks

9/10Stylish, monochromatic, jewel box feel to the dining space. Attentive staff. We opted for the chicken and corn surprise, which was beautifully cooked and presented. We were also served with warm bread and an amuse boucle which were lovely touches. Small note : would have liked more veg with main meal, but didn't see sides on main menu though. No time to try dessert as we were rushing to the cinema, but next time!
