Great restaurant, great roast ! Plenty of meat If I had a negative it would be the Yorkshire pudding which I’m not sure was homemade But really lovely roast dinner

10/10We booked last minute before heading off to a cocktail evening and to say that it was the best decision would be an understatement. We had a wonderful hostess look after us who was very attentive as I noted an allergy concern, she also was genuinely warm, friendly and funny. The food was delicious and we have already made the decision to eat there again. Thank you for the best evening.

10/10Our 3rd visit to The Glean. Firstly, it is very convenient for Blackfriars Station, so ideal for a final meal before heading home. Apart from that, the food is consistently good and good value for money. The maple pecan pie is excellent! Although we were eating early with few other diners, as the restaurant isn't huge there was still a nice, comfortable ambience. We will be back!

10/10My husband and I met my cousin here for a holiday lunch. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Great quiet location away from the overcrowded parts of London during the holidays.

10/10Lovely cosy restaurant, great staff reasonably priced food. Very quick service. The risotto main was very tasty and my guest had the Caeser salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is also great to hold office Christmas parties. The Christmas menu is great value for money. We have booked our office party there.

7.5/10Visited during Lord Mayors Parade. Good service, nice ambience. Good tasted nice... We had fish N chips and the eggs Benedict. Portion sizes smaller than anticipated. Cost was quite high.

9/10My second visit to The Glean, this time with a small group of friends. As before, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. I phoned to let them know we were running late and the manager was happy to delay our booking. It was late afternoon and not that busy, but it was one less concern for us when our journey was delayed. Again, I can recommend the blackened salmon and the maple pecan tart, both delicious.

9/10The Glean is a small, informal, light and airy restaurant very convenient for Blackfriars Station. There is also a good-sized outside terrace that was popular on the warm evening we visited. The menu is compact but the food we were served was excellent and efficiently prepared. I can recommend the blackened salmon with jambalaya, and my husband enjoyed his chicken burger with added cheese. I would have added a side to my dish if this had been suggested when I ordered, but instead I had room for a dessert and chose the pecan maple tart, which was really delicious and not too sweet. It was served with cream instead of ice cream at my request, which was a nice touch as some restaurants insist you have the dish as described. We will definitely visit The Glean again if in the area.

10/10This gem of a restaurant serves very tasty fresh food. We loved the Teriyaki Chicken and the Steak Sandwich. The sticky toffee pudding is always a delight. The wine list is reasonably priced. Nice friendly staff!
