half a bowl of soup was rather small for over £6. Asked for more gravy to go with Sunday dinner but it eventually came when we were just about finished our dinner and was barely luke warm

Visit the Glover Arms often, it's a lovely place the staff are all very friendly, and accomodating the food is always excellent no complaints whatsoever would highly recommend .

Nice restaurant. Pleasant staff. Food was very good. Recommend the fish cakes and chocolate dome for dessert. Nice ambience. I would definitely return. Prices are reasonable.

We went in on chance a day or two earlier and enjoyed our meals. My friend was taking her son for a meal for his birthday and so we went back. He had a medium rare stake which he said was perfect. The only thing for me as allergic to the veg peppers was my only choice was mac and cheese, but it was lovely so took home the half I couldn't eat. I would recommend this place.the

I thought the food was very well cooked & tasty. They must have a good chef! I liked that I could get a coffee with a mini pudding- I chose a brownie. Our waitress was nice but she seemed rum off their feet . We had to keep trying to catch her eye when we wanted service. Apparently, 2 chaps we knew from previous visits were on holiday or days off.

We go to the Glovers Arms regularly. The staff are very friendly and we even decided to have Christmas Day there last year. We would highly recommend , they even call when your late , which is me all the time😂

Food quality was poor, eggs over cooked, gammom fatty and chewy, chips left a very oily taste, may have been a bad day at the office for the chef but not a visit that gave any encouragement to return

Nice little restaurant. Such a pity about the food. Undercooked carrots over cooked broccoli and tough chicken which my granddaughter and I had. Maybe just unlucky with choice as another person had no problems. Would perhaps give it another visit at a later stage.

Food was generally very good and portion size about right. Service was very good and attention to customers good from arrival until leaving. Was very quite at lunchtime for a Friday but otherwise an excellent meal at reasonable cost.

We had lunch and the lunch menu gets both light lunches as burgers, sandwiches and pizzas; together wry the main courses. What a variety to choose. The taste was good. Would highly recommend!

Food very mediocre - beef bourginon was the best out of 6 mains - place was empty resulting in good service- good response to a booking email - frozen poor Quality Onion Rings - 2.5 poorly deep fried tiny rings on the plate with the House Burger. We had a good evening meeting friends but wouldn’t hurry back
