Cannot fault the place, food or service. The roast was divine! Cosy traditional pub, recently refurbished behind Theatre. Lovely staff including manager/owner.

What a lovely find in Bath. We started with a mixed plate of charcuterie and cheeses. This also came with figs, grapes, Olive Bread, Olives and two chutneys. It was a superb starter for us to share. I then Chose the Chicken and Korev Pie, this was lovely, a nice full moist pie with a light creamy sauce. It was served with Mashed Potatoes, gravy,Carrots and Kale all Of which were lovely. The other meal chosen was a burger (from a local butcher) this was really lovely and came in a bun, it was served with super lovely chips! My Husband had an IPA to drink which he really enjoyed. The pub has music in at a good level, we received great service and would thoroughly recommend if you are in or visiting Bath.

Our food order was not put through to kitchen so we had a very long wait until they realised this. The staff were not apologetic and just matter of fact and we were not offered any ind of recompense such as a complementary drink so I think overall service was poor. Food was very good when it eventually appeared more than an hour after ordering. Such a shame as the pub is nicely decorated. Music was a bit loud though if you wanted to chat with friends.

A very warm welcome on arrival and a lovely meal. Never felt rushed and always made to feel comfortable with just staying on the premises and enjoying the time to socialise and eat and drink

We had a superb meal tonight. Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Full marks to the chef and the waiting on team. I thoroughly recommend it and will return when we are next in Bath.

First visit to the Griffin and it will most certainly not be our last!! There is a really good feel about the place and a great friendly welcome when you get through the door. Food was first class, impeccable service and will be on our return list next time we are in bath.

The roast was mostly cold including veg and gravy and pots, and vegetables not cooked to the point of raw. Burgers excellent. Risotto excellent but roasts very poor although meat good quality.

Had been wanting to try this place for a little while based on reviews via The Fork app. My friend and I went for a late lunch, which was very good and the menu varied enough. The staff were great too - kind and professional. They really help form a comfortable dining experience, would definitely return.
