What a special gem tucked in the northern coast of Wales! Delicious food, incredible ambiance, and interesting history. Highly recommend!

The service was excellent however the food was also excellent until the main course and the desert., there was no taste, the sirloin steak was tough and the carrot cake was hard. An overall disappointe.

Good food without stand out dishes. Service was good but courses a bit rushed. Lovely drawing room.

The second time we have been and it was just as good as the last. A perfect venue for a birthday treat. The food is creative, looks beautiful and most importantly tastes great. Perl Las ice cream and shallot tart tatin Wow! Perfect portion sizes too.

I recently dined at the gunroom, and the experience was nothing short of cinematic. The service was exceptional, with our waiter displaying a level of professionalism and eloquence that added a touch of elegance to our evening. Every interaction was smooth and well-handled, making us feel like esteemed guests in a high-class setting. The atmosphere of the restaurant complemented this experience, contributing to an unforgettable dining adventure.

Formerly home to Lord Snowdon, the cosy Plas Dinas Country House dates from the 17C, and was built around the stone fireplace that still stands in The Gunroom today. Come for afternoon tea or for dinner at either 6 or 8pm. Welsh produce takes the lead on the concise, classically based monthly menu.
