9.5/10This is without doubt a first class restuarant. I enjoyed the experience more than the Fat Duck. The food was of a very high standard but it was the service that stood out. Our waitress who wants to work at Pinewood Studios (i didnt catch her name ) was fantastic and helped make it a really good evening.

4.5/10There was so little choice on offer. We spent 60 on taxis to get to this Michelin restaurant. Disappointing! We were told that the menu was extremely limited on Tuesday nights because the chefs were doing prep for the more important nights. Service was indifferent as well. Beware, fellow diners, go elsewhere.

9/10This restaurant delivers on the English pub experience, but with the added bonus of being Michelin starred. Perhaps it's the nature of Sunday roast, but the Sunday roast and Scotch eggs are what we ordered and while they were competent my opinion is that they didn't seem up to the standard of other Michelin starred restaurants. Perhaps the other dishes would be more in line with my expectations. Overall, worth a return visit in the expectation of discovering better dishes.

5/10Good quality food but unfortunately overpriced. Have eaten at other one star restaurants, better priced and quality of food.

6/10Pretty ordinary, solid pub. Not worthy of a star, or its price. Clientele is very international which creates an inauthentic ambience.

4.5/10The food was ok, not much variety and definitely not one star Michelin standard. The service was satisfactory and can’t complain. The staff were friendly

10/10Our server, Betsy, was excellent, if the restaurant can clone her they should! The food was very tasty, although the menu selection is somewhat limited. The ambience was subdued without being dark and somber, and the open fire (gas effect flame) was welcoming. My main "niggle" was the bench seat had a vertical support in the centre of the back which was uncomfortable when I leaned back.

9.5/10It was a good recommendation by my friend. Parking right at the front and the waitresses were all very friendly and professional. Absolutely enjoyed the food.

10/10Nice informal atmosphere but still felt special. Staff very welcoming and friendly, food arrived just at the right time. Had the set Sunday menu which was great. Have had some Michelin experiences before where portions are not as robust, so made the mistake of having brunch before this lunch at 3pm - brunch was not required! Hind's Head Sunday menu was full of good portions of tasty food, and the beef/gravy was our highlight. Scotch egg, minted pea and ham soup, and their take on an Eton Mess, were also brilliant too though! Would go back for another comforting, warming, Michelin, experience.

10/10+6We were overnighting in Heathrow and decided to venture out relatively nearby for dinner. We found this Michelin 1-star restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of London, and what a find it was! We really enjoyed such fine dining in a small town setting - the service was quick and courteous, and the food was excellent! The Hereford wingrib was fantastic, but we thought that the desserts stole the show. We especially enjoyed the quaking pudding and the strawberry - the former tasted like Christmas and the latter had just the right amount of sweetness. We would definitely go again.

10/10Excellent food, service and ambience. This is usually expected in a Michelin rebut I would actually rate it higher than the hand and flowers which has 2 stars. The duck and the beef and kidney pie were phenomenal and the desserts matched. The drinks were also great, from cocktails through to wine. The service was more laid back than French Michelin restaurants to be expected being a pub, but still fabulous.
