6/10The food was good. Starters were better than the main course. Balti wasn’t like I’d expect a balti to taste but it was ok. The service wasn’t that great. We had to chase side dips and extra drinks. Staff hung around the bar and didn’t check if we wanted anything once the food came out. The fork listing clearly showed there was a 20% discount on food which wasn’t applied to the bill until we queried it.

4/10The Staff were pleasant and helpful, unfortunately the dining area looked as though it was in need of refurbishing and no effort made to place the hanging lights out of ceiling etc. The ambiance was terrible with no back ground music or effort made for Valentines but you could clearly hear the loud conversations from the bar area with continuous swearing. Maybe they should close the restaurant area as this seemed an inconvenience and concentrate on the bar. We was looking for a country pub with good food, good atmosphere and somewhere decent, unfortunately this seems a locals pub only and we shall not be returning or recommending this place to our many friends.

10/10We had such a lovely reception the staff were great, we were in a hurry and they cooked for us quickly and efficiently. We also were difficult customers- a gluten, dairy free diner and the other a vegetarian.. but we found choice, nothing was too much trouble.. The pub its self was lovely, wifi, fires, locals having a pint... its everything a pub should be.. please choose this pub you wont be dissapointed!

10/10Excellent food for our large group including young children, we had 2 celiacs 1 adult and a child and they couldn’t of made them feel more at ease and was extremely helpful, the staff were amazing, thank you for a great evening !

8/10A small typical country pub. Monday and Tuesday are curry night. Food was very good, small range of beers. A lovely meal on a cold winters night

10/10Fantastic evening having a wonderful meal at The Ivy. The food was incredible and so tasty. We all had different meals and all of the meals were superb. Millie and Chris looked after us really well Thank you so much for a wonderful meal x

10/10Pub is spacious without appearing empty. Staff welcoming, efficient and friendly. Food speedily ordered and delivered to table. Portions excellent. Price great. Wish my local was as good.

10/10We received a very warm welcome. A great menu for my 4 year old grandson. The food was top quality, well cooked and well presented with very generous portion sizes. I had a Roast Beef dinner, this was the best meal out that I have had in a very long time. I will definitely be returning.

10/10What a find! We visited the Ivy recently, without booking, and were delighted with the quality of food! Absolutely top notch. And the staff were so friendly and helpful. We took our visitor's from Canada there last Saturday and found it just as good! Food excellent, service and friendliness excellent, in very pleasant surroundings. We shall be regular visitors and heartily recommend to our friends.
