The service and food were both good. I had asked for a quiet table if possible as my wife suffers from dementia and they seated us in a little alcove which was ideal. Overall very impressed with the Kings Head .

Initially given incorrect menu to choose from; only two roasts on offer. pork over cooked and quite tough; roast potatoes also tough, almost as they were left overs that had been reheated!

Service was very slow. We were there over 30mins before our food order was taken and then a very long wait. We had mini deserts and coffee and the coffee came 15mins before the deserts. We were in the restaurant over 2 and a half hours.

This pub / restaurant is beautiful and staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. All that I would say is that service is very slow but the food is absolutely stunning.

Great service on a really busy night. All the staff were very efficient and friendly. and the food excellent. All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening celebration and were completely satisfied with the experience.

Ordered the child’s pizza which came cut in half, so only half of pizza which was not like this on our last visit. Pie of the day, mediocre, pastry a tad crispy. Staff very pleasant

Had fish and chips. Very reasonably priced, and served hot. I would have given top marks, but the chips were frozen, the fish was a little overcooked, the peas were a bit watery and the tartare sauce had a tapioca consistency. Having said all that, it was a decent meal, served by a very friendly waiter, and the restaurant is nice and character full. I would order it again, and would recommend it.
