We went as a family to celebrate a special birthday. We had amazing service from both Nikki Jamo and Ali they both were outstanding and made our evening so special! Thank you we will be back soon! Great cocktails and delicious food too!

The restaurant was very smelly. I am allergic to shellfish and the entire restaurant had a stale odour of fish. When I asked to be seated somewhere where it did not have a smell, they advised that I sit outside. This was fine, but my food arrived cold and unfortunately the smell was still noticeable outside. The burgers we ordered were cold when arrived and did not taste fresh. I ordered the biscoff billionaires desert which is meant to melt when pouring hot sauce onto, the sauce was cold, almost frozen and so I did not get to enjoy the dessert either.

Lovely restaurant have been many times and usually very good. Staff and atmosphere great but our fish cakes weren’t good. Very small, thin and over cooked. Also the egg had chilli flakes sprinkled on which wasn’t mentioned on the menu, spoiled it for my elderly mother. My friends salad was awesome though. The fork confirmed my booking via email but restaurant didn’t have it, luckily I rang that morning to double check and they had a table anyway

Brilliant food here. Staff and welcoming and helpful. The only downside on this visit is the food did take a while to come out when there wasn't. May seated in the restaurant, but it wasn't a really long wait. This was a second vist as we enjoyed the food there

First visit to The Kings Arms did not match all the glowing reports on TA. The food was good and nice to see a menu not saturated with Burgers. In fact it was a really good menu and not the standard modern generic type. The staff were good but our evening was spoilt by a guy on the adjacent table talking so loud, to impress a first date, that I could barely hear my wife talk. Dining room was generally noisy. Thought the wine was expensive with a 300% mark-up on a bottle that Sainsburys sell at £8.50. Will try it again and hope to have a better experience.

We chose the streaky pork roast, the food was cold, the streaky pork was hard and tough, therefore we were unable to eat it. The greens were not cooked. The crackling was so hard we could not bite it. The roast veg were cooked, but cold. However, we did have a dessert and both the sticky toffee pudding and creme brûlée were excellent. The staff attention was excellent and dealt with our comments efficiently.

Slow service. Good beef but rest of meal not amazing. Crumble not at all crunchy. Good coffee. All in all quite mediocre and would not be rushing to dine there again.

Booked and mistakenly found it had been cancelled, but on arrival a very kind member of staff apologised. Every thing else was very good. Food excellent service very good lighting very difficult to read the menus

Lovely village pub that has been there years and I had nearly forgotten about! Glad I revisited as I will most definitely be back. They did everything well! Lots of attentive staff, tables and good menu (although several options had sold out). we visited Lunch time. Lovely atmosphere, very relaxed. Sat outside and didn't visit toilets or inside bar so can't comment on that
