6/10The food was lovely and enjoyed by all, however the service was appalling. The waiting times from getting our drinks order, to time waiting between courses was unacceptable. We waited almost an hour after giving our desert order for it to be brought to the table. Such a shame as I would come here again for the food and ambience but have been put off by the service. Unfortunately this is not a one off, as have been here on two consecutive Saturday lunch times and both times the service was really poor.

7/10It would have been good to understand that there was an offer of 40% off food that evening and to download the app to take avantage of this offer. Only when I asked why they had run out of certain dishes did it become clear why amd I then proceeded to do the download the app and ask for the offer, where it would really have been a reversed process.

Absolutely excellent roast dinner, we will definitely be back again soon! Everything was brilliant. The lovely new landlady, Rebecca, came around personally to introduce herself and check how our meal was, really nice touch!

10/10Four of us dining. We had the full set of starters, mains and desserts. Highly recommended the pie of the day, the lamb and the steaks. Also the honeycomb and banoffee desserts. The service was excellent, just the right side of friendly, Kaley (without the 'Y' 😀) you were a superb waitress.

9/10The restaurant was very welcome, and also busy. We asked for a table in a quiet area, and got one in a corner. A bit tight to get in and out if you were by the wall, but fine with us as we did not have to battle with other neighbours noise. Food excellent also drinks. Will definitely go again

5/10Two of us in the party had the fish cakes , which We found to be over cooked and tasteless. It took a long time to get a drink at the table . I’m a local and have been coming to the lambs green on and off for 20 years But last night’s experience has put me off coming to eat again

8/10A little overpriced for the food, the carrots were virtually raw and my father in law gave up trying to cut them. pudding - crumble was etremely tart, no sugar at all in it.

5.5/10Everything i chose was not available. ‘ sorry we have just run out of that ‘ What i did have was mediochre. I would not even serve that standard at home. The desserts were very overpriced.

4/10The pub did not have enough staff, We arrived at 5.20 & our main course was served at 6.45. When my shin of Beef arrived it was absolutely disgusting, It was a bone with all fat on it and no meat at all. I sent it back & the chef offered to cook another but we had Theatre tickets so we're really pushed for time (even though we had allocated 2 hours for our meal ) I sat with out a main course while my husband had his. Then the bill was brought over with my meal on it, We said we were not paying for my meal.

7/10Nice menu a little expensive rather dissapointing that the food I wanted wasn't on the app , had to order at the bar app was useless on this occasion served knives and no forks and no serviettes which eventually came out

10/10I have often driven past the Lambs Green Inn but today we went in for Sunday lunch and weren’t disappointed. We were made welcome and the food was very good, we will be back, thank you.

10/10We arrived over an hour late for a booked 12 30 lunch and the staff were not fazed they settled us in quickly and following drinks the three of us ordered the same meal - outstanding.

7/10We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem was that the food was only lukewarm. Even the extra gravy that we asked for was barely warm. Such a shame as otherwise the food was excellent - a wide variety of veg, tasty meat and plenty of each (we all had the Sunday roasts).
