10/10The restaurant is in a beautifully restored building. Great presence. Welcoming staff, seated quickly. Patient server who explained the menu in a way that made the dishes clear. It was tasty, with ample portions. The mnii dessert selection was perfect. We have already booked another meal.

10/10A really busy Sunday lunch venue in a lovely building with fast and efficient service. The dinner plate was piled high and all tasted delicious. Thoroughly enjoyable meal, many thanks

9/10Top shelf food and service in a great venue. Service was perfect for our celebration. Only downside was we almost walked past due to the scaffolding and hoardings due to there refurb.! But does say on the website! Absolutely recommend for an evening meal and frequented by many locals.. Cocktails where the beat I have had. Highly recommend!

8.5/10Really disappointing & a weird experience this one. When l made the booking online it offered options with seating requests. l requested a window seat. When we arrived we were happy with what we saw & also on the inside. We were met by a lady whose greeting was cold to say the least. We stated our names & led into the Dining area where she tried to shove us in a corner. I stated this was not good enough as l requested a window seat. She did not seem too happy & said all the other tables by the windows were booked. She gave us a table by the fire exit & because l did not want to make a scene we were seated. In our time there no one was seated by the window. Other members of the serving team were warm & friendly . The food was good but we will definitely NOT return. It’s such a shame that one member of staff tarnished the whole experience.

10/10Lovely pub/ restaurant with great layout and good, reasonably priced menu. Service staff were lovely - we were there at peak time when they were busy.

10/10A very nice building well laid our serving staff were excellent , bar drinks were good and the food for all three courses we had were excellent. Only negatives are , easy to miss car park and if you pull up outside the building no sign to say car park this way, other was main course arrived on a platter but our plates ideally should be thetr first as we had food but no plates for a minute or so. Would I go again if in the area, yes 100 percent

10/10Lovely dining room, friendly staff, warm welcome. Delicious food at reasonable prices - I had the salmon. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. Definitely go again. Good wine list . Really enjoyed. Easy to park. Had to change time of booking because we got delayed getting out of Cheltenham race course. Staff were very helpful accommodating us half an hour later than booked .
