Excellent
The warm ambiance embraces while the cuisine delights. Stumbled across this fabulous place for lunch and returned 5 days later for dinner. Highly recommend,
I love this restaurant. It still serves the best kleftiko I've ever tasted - in Greece or anywhere else. Meltingly gorgeous. There's not that much on the menu but what is there is done simply and superbly. Over the years I'd become so used to dried-out, tasteless pitta bread I'd forgotten how tasty it could be. The homemade honeyed orange cake was a delight. I'm so glad this place is surviving. Hopefully just enough custom to keep it ticking over until London streets are buzzing again. I think the friendly, charming owners deserve it.
The quality and quantity of the ingredients are sublime and then the Greek red wine took it to an even higher level. Staff are genuinely keen to provide a memorable evening of Greek hospitality. Amazing.
I visited The Life Goddees on Store Street for the second time in a week yesterday. The staff are so welcoming, the atmosphere is great and the food delicious. I will be back again!
Brilliant restaurant. Lovely relaxed setting in Central London. Good authentic Greek food cooked and presented perfectly. Great bottle of House Red completed the experience. Good value too.
Food not tasty especially for the amount paid, the waiter was not very friendly and it was extremely hot inside even though there was an a/c switched on. Would not recommend
Really pleased to have discovered this gem - the food was very nice and the service attentive and friendly. I really like that they sell Greek ingredients too. Will be back again, thanks :)
The food here is delicious! Honestly, the best Greek food I’ve ever eaten. And that is saying something because Greek food is always great! We also shared a bottle of Rosé, and it was lovely, crisp and fragrant. Waiters were really great and attentive, but also didn’t make us feel under pressure to leave so when we finished so we had a nice drink and chat. Perfect way to graduate.
Was treated by we need the table by 8, food was good, ran out of house wine and told the next bottle they brought was £2.00 mor4e was this ok, could have been put better, we have dined here a number of times, and other before have been better
A warm and cost setting for beautifully cooked Greek food with a personal touch. I love this place in the day for lunch and this was my first visit for dinner and it didn't disappoint. With so many chain options around, it feels special to go somewhere that feels very much an individual experience with a warm ambience and friendly staff. The food is beautifully presented. I recommend the lamb kleftiko or moussaka. Plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike.
One of our favourite restaurants in London.
Will definitely be back
Delicious food and friendly service.
We have dined at the restaurant on several occasions and always loved it - but sadly this time it fell a little below expectations. While the food was mainly good, we received one of our starters after the main. Service was incredibly slow and we were told this was because they were busy (but only 3 tables were in at the time) - a shame as like I said, we usually love it here and the food is generally delicious!
Another lovely experience at The Life Goddess- superb food delivered in a friendly bustling atmosphere and cooked by the jolliest chef! Great veggie food and giant portions!!!
I've lunched twice here and both experiences have been really positive. Great food and exceptional and friendly service. Staff and manager (Vasili) went out of their way to make the entire visit way above the usual. It's great food plus a delightful ambience.
Great food, lovely atmosphere! Would thoroughly recommended. I have the pumpkin risotta which was yummy! Not a great selection of non alcoholic drinks.
Life goddess is one of my favourite restaurants in london ! Guaranteed nice meal whatever you order ! absolutely love it :)
Absolutely stunning amazing food, great surroundings, lovely staff, every single dish we ordered was so fresh and delicious. Stayed there all night, not rushed to leave despite table being booked for 7. Will million percent be returning
