6.5/10Despite listing that they had gluten free options, they were actually very limited. The only upside was they were aware of the risk of cross contamination. At this price point, it's fair to expect good gluten free options at a Greek place.

7/10Beautiful little restaurant, authentic looking and decorated with love (e.g. walls full of wine bottles), the ambience would have been great, if on the day we were there, the lights had not flickered all time (which could be a problem for people with epilepsy or migraine) - it was also a bit too noisy and therefore a bit difficult to concentrate on the conversations. Service was good (but at one point sauce was spilled on my bag when serving/taking plates away) and the food arrived relatively quickly and was very tasty.

10/10We had a good time eating and chatting together with no pressure to eat up and go which we appreciated. I realise the restaurant needs to get customers but they did let us catch up as well as feed us good fresh well prepared food. All round a best booking, You can hear each-other speak unlike many eating venues that rack up the background noise making it stressful, not at the restaurant- all good all round, thank you to all the staff.

10/10Ideal venue for lunch with colleagues. loved the ambient fairylights, wooden interior and great menu. Generous portion sizes, good value for money and very nice service. This is going to be a new found favourite!

10/10Hadn't eaten here before but the reviews online all looked excellent. The occasion was a very special one - my mum's best friend over from Australia - so hopes were high and The Life Goddess didn't disappoint. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food and wine were all delicious. The hummus was the best I've ever tasted! I'd definitely come here again.

4/10The food was not great - a lot of the starters tasted like they were ready-made and not fresh. Staff were a bit lacklustre too . The wine was nice, and the atmosphere.

We can assure you that the starters you had like the Cretan Fennel homemade Pitta, the Smoked aubergine, our Butter Beans, the Vine leaves are all freshly made on the day with Ingredients coming all from Greece. 9.5/10Almost everything about this restaurant is nearly perfect. The manager and his staff are to be congratulated. It is modestly priced. The staff were most attentive and pleasant. The only problem for someone over 30, was that it was just a little noisy. But for the sake of all the rest, I can live with that!

9.5/10Local neighborhood gem. Excellent Greek food, many of the menu items are based upon his Mother's original recipes. Inside and outside seating available. They also have deli "to go" items for sale including wine.

9.5/10This is a lovely authentic restaurant and the food was excellent. A very helpful waitress guided us through the wine list and moved us away from a rather noisy party when there was some space, even though we hadn't asked to be moved! It was a very thoughtful gesture and she also chose our dessert for us - which again was fabulous. I am looking forward to going back during the day and trying the Life Goddess for coffee and cake as well as their lunch menu.

10/10We had a reunion of alumni - 11 of us got together for lunch at Life Goddess in Store Street. We had what amounted to a private room downstairs, all fitting round one long table. The food was excellent - a great choice with something for everyone, whether meat eater or vegetarian. Generous portions, lovely Greek wine. A great time was had by all. The staff are cheerful and friendly, prices very reasonable. Highly recommended.

9.5/10I have enjoyed this spot half a dozen times and always had excellence food, service, ambience, etc. The only negative this time was that my friend's entree order was lost in the communication between server and kitchen. We had to ask after it, and even then there was a delay and my meal, which had arrived 15min earlier, was cold by the time we were both able to eat. Still a happy customer who will come back for more!

9.5/10It was a big family reunion. We had a table that felt private but still part of the atmosphere. Wonderful vibe, fantastic tasty food and helpful staff. We loved it and it was perfect for what we needed.

10/10The Life Goddess is a wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff really helpful, giving advice when asked and all is so relaxed and attractive. I would recommend it very highly. I do wonder why, though, all the shops & restaurants in Store Street all have the same signs. This is new and I thought the restaurant had gone when I arrived. I much prefer to see restaurants individually presented.
