Very Covid safe, lovely warm welcome, friendly staff, excellent menu choice and the quality of the food and the portion sizes were amazing. Could not fault it. Even gave us boxes to take the food home we couldn't eat.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The food was delicious! Cosy atmosphere. Thank you very much, we had a great evening.

Love The lifeboat ...havent been for a while but never fails to impress with the food . Lovely staff always friendly . Nice that you can take the dog in certain areas although didnt this visit .

Excellent service and the food was great. The gin cocktails are worth a go, Very friendly staff, great location, the place is also very clean, would highly recommend.

Absolutely pleased with our visit this evening, choices on the menu very good and food arrived as expected. One disappointment was one steak slightly overcooked but once explained to the waitress a free dessert was offered and accepted. Ordered a bottle of wine and told that they charge for two large glasses and the rest of the bottle was free, unfortunately this didn’t happen with the second bottle. Overall will definitely visit again as good food, good service, lovely ambiance and brilliant location.

In the current Covid situation we felt safe and not close to other tables. Service was friendly and quick. Food was well resented, tasteful and of good portion size. Would recommend.

Had a lovely lunch today staff were excellent and friendly could see they were smiling behind the masks. Food was lovely and menu was great so much choice. Will be back soon.

Super restaurant in a lovely position. Decked outdoor area overlooking marina, not in use today in the rain. Good service, very friendly and the food was excellent.

Fantastic food, turkey and gammon roast was huge as was the pie of the day, you won’t come away hungry with portion sizes here, lovely atmosphere and fantastic attentive friendly staff, worth a try for sure....

Lovely welcome at the door, great one way system and very COVID secure. Food was excellent, generous portions & very tasty. The staff were lovely and attentive & although the restaurant was quite busy, we didn’t have long to wait for our food. We’ve been here several times & for me, this was by far the best experience to date

This restaurant is always a pleasure to visit and dine in. The food is excellent, as is the service. The staff are friendly and welcoming and are doing a great job managing the covid situation. We had a lovely lunch and enjoyed a couple of hours of 'normality' enjoying the christmas atmosphere. Thank you Lifeboat

Very tasty food, well cooked fresh veg with the turkey special, lovely chips, I would have liked a bit more meat in the pie. Overall an enjoyable lunch.

The food is always excellent and very consistent,the staff are very friendly and helpful We’ve never had a bad experience at the lifeboat pub and visit regularly.

Excellent friendly service and good homemade soup was perfect on a cold Winter's day. Our dog also really appreciated his separate plate of biscuits!

The Lifeboat itself and the food served, did not fail to come up to the expected standard this is not the first time we have eaten there and will definitely not be the last.

Fantastic attentive service with a good menu choice along with daily specials to choose from. Vegans, Vegetarians and children also well catered for.
