We enjoyed our meal at The Lion which was well presented,it was a nice relaxed atmosphere and we booked through the Fork website and received a 20% discount off the bill.Well worth a visit when in the Walton Road area.

waiting for 1.5h for food, the restaurant is not super crowded one party of people and a couple then us, staff never attentive, didn't come to ask you or at least engage telling us if food will be late, then food come super oily not even nice to eat, some of their food is store bought so felt not right to be charged at premium fare, in overall not worth the money and will not go back

Really sorry about your wait but all our food is cooked fresh to order not store bought as you say, I believe you ordered the steamed gyoza (no oil used), chicken fried rice for which we use minimal oil but as it says in its name fried rice and kottu which is cooked dry by our chef the only item containing oil on that dish would be the fried egg. We have many happy repeat customers who love our food.

The food was wonderful but they took too many bookings and struggled serving on time, my husband had to go before ours was served after 1 hour
