8/10The pub is a typical looking lovely country style pub. Nice layout inside, fire in the hearth. Staff were friendly and provided good service. My wide had salmon fishcakes, but the fish inside was white not pink , so another type of fish. My Katsu curry was very tasty. The rice was a solid lump and had to be broken up, but I cleaned the plate, so tasted good. We both had mixed fruit crumble and custard for dessert, but I must've got all the fruit as my wife's plate was mainly sauce beneath then crumble. If visiting again we would select something different off the menu, nice place though.

6.5/10The service an staff are very good. The bread that was served with the Camembert was stale and disguised by trying to warm in the microwave so was hard and tasteless

10/10The service was really good and a polite approach to our requests along with the meals we had that were excellent. Each time we have been to the little owl we have enjoyed our meals and would advise anyone to try it well done/ merry xmas

5/10Waited half and hour to have our food order taken, had to ask to order drinks, waited over an hour from arrival for food to arrive. We had roast dinners, turkey was bone dry, pork was tough and dry, beef was ok. Slow service and average at best food. Very disappointed.

10/10Great place, this is the 5th time we have eaten here. It is local and of really good quality food, but also the service and atmosphere is really genuine, no one is trying to be nice, they are all naturally good service providers and nice, nice is a very small word but it is vitally important that you get the feeling people are happy to work there and are happy to serve you. The food is well presented on the plate and we never wait long for the meal to arrive.
