8.5/10Food great. Service questionable. Greeted by waitress saying we weren’t on the booking list, we were as it was confirmed by email. She said our system is down and restaurant is full but we could go to Bar lounge area. So we thought ok let’s just have a drink. She then said would you like a menu??? Why didn’t she offer that to begin with? We then realised we could have and did have a nice meal which was great. Pity about her very poor communication skills.

8/10Nothing wrong with the food or setting ..just total disappointment that, after a long journey with the anticipation of using my accumulated Yum Rewards, I was embarrassed to find this venue couldn’t do so. We instead accumulated a further 100 Yums with probably no occasion to use them!

5.5/10I am sorry to say it was not a good experiance I have had good meals there in the past but unfortunately the food was not good this time and the staff were good when they were available the venue was more busy than usual and The staff did not cope with it very well. We did make negative comments to them about the quality of the meals when asked and it was not received very well and even found a note left on our vehicle with part of the food we left on our plate. As for the venue it is very good but the quality of the meals are not good. We do not feel that we want a return visit which is a shame because it used to be good.

9/10Pleasant environment.. service good. Starters were delicious. Restaurant accommodated us with a smaller size portion. Beef was cut in thickish slice, unfortunately was a bit tough but otherwise food was good.

10/10Really great ambiance. Busy but not loud so able to have good conversation. Service timed well. Decor tasteful with a homely feel. Food delicious, well presented. Is the same menu as on previous visits but still enough choice

10/10Very accommodating for a large party. Decor very pleasing. Restaurant was very busy but noise level was low so whole party could communicate with ease. . Varied and appealing menu. Good portions and food was as tasty as it looked. A very enjoyable evening. Would recommend and will definitely return.

10/10Great ambience. A small work xmas lunch. Festive but not tacky! Food and staff were great. The only negative if being picky, was the hot drinks at the end of the meal were warm rather than hot.

8/10Never been here before and we were pleasantly surprised by the look of the place, we both had the beef stew dish with carrot and broccoli the beef was very nice and tender almost melting in your mouth the broccoli not so tender but nice all the same. Server was attentive and helped me redeem a voucher I had received via the app. Desert was tasty warm chocolate brownie with liqueur ice cream, could be a bit bigger but we did share. Overall a good experience and will probably visit again.

9/10Marsh Harrier was very busy but staff were still courteous and helpful. Food was extremely good. Nice ambiance. Convenient location and pleasantly clean and inviting. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Marsh Harrier

10/10We had a lovely evening. Long overdue family get together. Food was great, everyone enjoyed themselves. Relaxed atmosphere. Very pleasant staff Zoe & Josh. Will definitely return & highly recommend. Thankyou for a great evening.

4.5/10An experience never to be repeated, the food was abysmal. Worst Pizza ever, with slices of fresh tomato on top and rubbery cheese. Fish cakes missing the fish.

9/10We took our Son and Daughter out for lunch...they were very impressed and said the food was delicious...My Husband and I had been to the Marsh Harrier several times before and knew how delicious the food was...we were not disappointed today either!

4.5/10Normally the Sunday roasts are lovely, but I had to sent mine back completely as some of the food was was only just warm. It seemed to us that we were forgotten as table booked for 12 when they opened but actually go our food 12:40 not good service

8.5/10Very nice lunchtime visit today - my second in a week! All very cosy, clean and tidy, staff were welcoming and attentive, drinks delivered quickly as was our main meal. All very enjoyable.

9.5/10Pleasantly surprised at the vast improvement from when we last visited. I think new management have taken over. Couldn’t fault the service. Food well prepared and presented. Will definitely revisit in the near future. Would recommend to others.

10/10What a great place to eat! The hostess and waiting staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, and added to that, the food was delicious. We returned the following night to have an equally positive experience here, which came as a great relief from the poor standards we had had in a nearby 4* hotel where we were staying. Many thanks to Jen and Ivan who made us feel welcome on respective nights.

6.5/10Quite a few things not available on the menu , food was not overly hot. Had the chicken sandwich , size of the sandwich was very small considering it was £8.25 for. Basically a chicken sandwich and a few fries
