9/10My go to for a dressy night, went to the theatre after. Lovely ambience and food. A little pricey but worth the flavour profile and attention given. The tempura is fab, start with that!

9/10Nice venue and ambiance, service was also good. We were both quite hungry though after the 3 course menu, very very small portions. The baby chicken for example is served without any sides at all and we paid 5£ extra for four slices of focaccia. Service charge is 15%.

9.5/10Food on point and portion is right. Servers are very attentive however there is still room for them to polish their serving skill. And also duration of waiting for another person’s main dish took more than 20mins. Hopefully the F&B team could take note on this and adjust the timing better in the future. Otherwise it was a good dining experience.

We were greeted with a warm welcome. A friend joined us last minute for a drink pre dinner. The staff at The May Fair Kitchen held our table for us and provided great service. Delicious menu options, excellent service! This won’t be my last visit. Thank you!!

10/10Very delicious food and good value if you are eating a set menu like us with 3 courses but individually the prices are high. As always fantastic service and friendly staff. Best dishes by far was the mushroom risotto and I really liked the peony drink - blueberry kombucha!

6/10Booked for 8 people & requested seats by the windows. We didn’t get seats by the window at least in the. Middle of restaurant , the fact we seats by the kitchen hence booked two months in advance.

8/10We had a set menu which we hadn't realised meant that none of the dishes came with sides. The food was tasty and a nice varied menu. The set menu also came with a glass of Blanc de Blancs which was a lovely surprise! 🥂. My only criticism is that they cleared the table before all diners had finished eating!

2/10What a terrible place. With the rudest staff and most tasteless food ever. Tried to deny my discount and kept harassing us for orders. One of those "our concept is small plates" scams. Don't bother. Worst choice ever on my part

6/10I did not like the menu. Small plates were indeed very small tastings. While the food was better than okay, the offerings were limited. Finally, I did not enjoy the DJ music while dining.

10/10We had the most amazing Afternoon Tea experience thanks to Dhavalkumar who restlessly serviced our table with nothing but outstanding kindness. The food is great overall, but the scones earned a special place in my heart. The tea selection is wide and pretty interesting. Definitely a 10/10.

7/10Yellowfin tacos, aubergine, tuna ribbon, and the pizza were all very good however the scallops didn't taste fresh and unopened clam shouldn't have been served. Very good service from Esme but let down by mistakes on order by bar staff and collecting unfinished glasses. The prices are high and so will be the expectations of diners.

10/10we focused on the asian part of the menu. all dishes were excellent, eclectic twist of the traditional asian flavours. even the endamane were spectacular, the mochi esquisite and the vegetarian dishes inventive and full of flavour. service was corteus and accurate. prices are in the high range. the experience is memorable.

Food and service were excellent. Went during weekday lunch so it was quiet and not crowded. The gyoza tacos were really good, using a fried gyoza skin as the taco shell. Filling was tangy and umami, well seasoned. The beef fillet had a really interesting sauce that I think had truffle, chilli and soy sauce. I liked that their tap water was lightly flavoured with lime and mint. Staff were very attentive and lovely, but do note that they are earning their 15% service charge. Overall a nice experience but was pricey as expected of a restaurant in Mayfair. Personal preference, but I did not like the smell of incense burning at the entrance of the restaurant, makes me feel like I’m in a temple and not a restaurant.

9/10The food was delicious & a delight for the eyes & the dining room was bright, quirky and modern. The service was prompt and the staff very cooperative and amenable. However, my guests struggled with the loud & intrusive music and the joss sticks burning at reception undermined the aromas and flavours of our meals. I would come to May Fair Kitchen again & hope they turn the music down & abandon the incense. I don’t think hospitality stood overwhelm the kitchen’s beautiful work.

9.5/10We had the set menu and the food was absolutely delicious but the portion sizes were very small. I could have literally eaten all three courses again! When the menu states baby chicken I expect a poussin but we got two of the smallest chicken fillets I’ve ever been served.

5/10Hi, my husband and I came for a nice dinner. The food was delicious, but overpriced. The service was disappointing. The waitresses were addressing the questions to my husband each time “Sir, what do you think about this; sorry sir; sir do you want a wine list….. just like I was not existing. In the end when the bill came, it went automatically to my husband, like I was not existing. As I invited my husband to this dinner, I wanted to pay. That resulted in the waitress saying:Oh. At the end, my husband was asked if he wanted a cab. Just like I was not there. I found this experience very disappointing and chauvinistic. Think this experience was not the one I would consider pleasant. I was surprised that such an undermining times are over in a modern city.

Beef and octopus carpaccio delicious, but small portions. Pizza fairly rustic and authentic. Risotto rich with mushrooms and some black truffle shavings, medium size portion. Baby chicken is two pieces not a whole baby bird. The mochi ice creams including pistachio are relatively large balls.
