10/10Having recently been advised to avoid milk and milk products, I was most impressed by the facility to screen out those menu items containing these items and to present the result to me on a tablet. This made it very easy to select my choice of dishes with confidence that they satisfied my dietary requirements. This is the best system that I have encountered.

10/10I have been a customer at The Mint for over 15 years. Even though it’s part of a chain which can put some people off, The Mint still manages to keep its cosy country pub vibe. The welcome, standard of service, the menu choices and the quality of the delicious food has been consistent almost throughout this time. The roaring log fire and our fantastic waitress yesterday evening completed the delicious “Pie of the day” (she will know who she is now 😊) and mango/white chocolate meringue dessert. I am looking forward to my next visit already.

10/10Very helpful and friendly staff, who were also professional in their approach. For example, they checked for allergies and knew their menu well. The aubergine dish was rich and tasty with a nice fresh salad. My partner had the sea bass which was very good, although a bit small.

10/10Lunched at The Mint for the first time in a few years as we now on the south coast. Very pleased to say that the quality of food and service was as good as I remembered it from way back. Thank you for lovely food and excellent service.

10/10As a family of five we all thought the food was excellent the service was excellent and very quick. We all choose as a family the Roast dinners which was excellent. Choice for a traditional Easter Sunday. Really lovely setting and cosy inside and the staff was warm and welcoming.

5.5/10Lovely pub/restaurant, plenty of parking. My friend arrived before me and was already seated with a drink, I joined her and was basically ignored until I had to call the waitress over to order a drink, we just choose a simple open sandwich with chips, which took ages to come, we had to chase this also. Such a shame as it was quiet lunch time, but the food was enjoyable.

10/10Our 1st visit for a Sunday roast, had lovely table by window and chairs were really comfortable. The service by both waiter & waitress were top notch, very on the ball, polite, friendly and pleasant. Was not rushed & we had 2 trio roasts & a vegan roast - the food was really lovely and we all had mixtures of ice cream for dessert. The pub is very cosy, has a lovely fire and place was very clean - would definitely go again and would recommend

6/10Nice pub. Been several times and was always happy with my food I’d ordered. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time. My burger was so overdone and was very dry. And the triple cooked chips were not brilliant either.

6.5/10Staff were very friendly and helpful, restaurant was lovely inside. Food was sadly disappointing, sharing platter was tiny for the price and 2 out of 6 main courses were dry and not pleasant to eat, 3 dinners were enjoyable, the remaining meal was lovely but too small. Staff offered a discount which was kind but sadly after tonight's experience we wouldnt rush to return which is a shame as the pub is local.

10/10I love The Mint. I have been here many times and love the food and the service is really good. the restaurant has a good atmosphere and is roomy (your not sitting on top of each other) so you can have a good conversation. They never rush you, you can take your time with your meal and drinks and they are just lovely staff. Would recommend The Mint and will be going there again.
