A great location for a business dinner. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Drinks were great (great cocktails) and the food was well made, with good portions and very tasty. Would certainly go again.

The Montagu restaurant at the Hyatt used to be our first choice for Afternoon Tea, having not been there since 2019 (prior to Covid) we were shocked to see the deterioration of this once luxurious hotel to a very basic one. We had an incompetent waiter, not at all friendly, he didn’t listen and talked over us. The cloakroom attending lady was dreadful, she couldn’t even raise a smile and when we spoke to her she wouldn’t communicate, it was extraordinary. Our table was booked for 6 people who hadn’t seen each other since 2019 and the whole experience of Afternoon Tea was a disappointing. The only thing that was 5 Stars was the amazing company of us 6 ladies together. For the price we paid this experience is one we will not repeat again at the Montagu. We will never go back to the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Top meal, amazing value & brilliant service. Would recommend for a romantic occasion. They had live music which was great. They made us feel part of their family. Will definitely be making it a regular spot

The brunch was nice overall, but a bit expensive. Eggs were barely warm, a bit overcooked, and for this high quality hotel and service, we would have expected seasonal products, not watermelon, strawberries or tomatoes (tasteless by the way) in January! But the team was very nice and professional, and live music was nice.

Amazing experience, great service, excellent food, and great staff. Dinner was outstanding! We had a great time. If you stay in the hotel (restaurant is part of the hotel) it is also very comfortable.

The vegan Christmas menu was disappointing. The waitress was nice to us but rude to the other staff members. The venue was really nice and we enjoyed the live music.

We’re staying at the Hyatt and arrived late afternoon so this was an easy choice to keep things simple. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. The ambiance is “hotel chic” and worked just fine.

Front of house couldn't find booking to begin with but had space so we did have a table. Probably because we paid cash, staff miscounted and thought we underpaid. Apart from these two hiccups everything else was fine.

Excellent food and for a very reasonable price - we had the tasting menu and were very happy with our dishes. The atmosphere was nice; busy but not so loud we couldn't hear ourselves. Service was excellent except for one mix up, but the situation was dealt with very well by the staff. We'll definitely come back!
