Food was generally good. Starters a little bit and miss - bhaji quite bland, kebabs a little underflavoured and chewy but otherwise fair to good. Main courses were good and the chicken chilli madras had plenty of flavour and bite, other dishes shared by group all had good taste and meat was good quality. Naan breads and rice well made and tasty. Servers attentive and quick, food came out swiftly and piping hot. Venue is looking quite tired and run down but is clean and tidy, if a little small - but there was enough space for a table for 8 (maximum comfortable group) and prices are reasonable.

Food variety, food quality, flavor, everything was great. Service is fantastic. Only one thing is that they have no idea what a 'martini' is - I suggest to take that out of the drinks menu. We were fooled by it. But the rest of it is just exquisite!

I was able to get a booking the same day during dinner so that was good. We ordered a few mains and my table shared them all. First, papads came by with lovely chutneys, two of which were hand-crafted; a onion one and the riata one. I rarely have the riata or the mango chutney and yet here I was scarfing it all down alongside the chili lime one because it tasted really good. Whoever mixed those up knew what they were doing. For the mains, the pilau rice was delish. My pick was saag paneer. They made it with less cream than most British Indian restaurants use which made for a much more flavoursome saag. The chicken in the chicken korma was so tender it nearly melted in my mouth. I also chose the lamb bhuna which was just the right amount of spicy kick for me. That might be too bland for you if you like vindaloo; for me, perfect. Waiting for the bill took ages. We were paying debts on our phones, reading emails, making business decisions, and plotting out the next week's events and still no bill. We started joking about perhaps staying in the Mughal overnight. I almost wanted Sanjeev Bhaskar to say, "Check, please!" All I can say is thank goodness the food was fantastic and the company (mates from school days) even more so because, in the immortal Yelp reviews of the late great Gilbert Gottfried, God rest his soul, "I would go back."

My favorite curry and a must visit when I’m in England, many years running. Lamb Dopiaza is my choice: The interior is a bit sub par at the present but they have signs up saying renovations are coming. All the same to me, I’m stopping by regardless.

The food was average. I've eaten Indian alot and this doesn't live up to my expectation. The poppadoms are white and tasteless. The hygiene in the bathroom just terrible. The decor is old needs a refresh.

The restaurant is a gem. The menu is expansive and one we want to revisit to try more selections. We had the lamb Balti which was absolutely delicious and the chicken tikka masala which was equally as good. The service was great and we did not feel at all rushed despite the fact they were VERY busy. We will definitely visit again.

Starters were of poor quality, not warm enough cold inside the meat. Main was just ok, Staff could be friendlier I left a tip of 12£ and they didn’t even say thanks. I wouldn’t go back. Brian Crawford
