Food and service was brilliant but when paying the bill I was told cash wasn’t accepted. No where online or in the restaurant is that made clear and apparent. Fortunately I was able to cover most of the bill on my card and the staff were very helpful and accepted cash for the remaining. But had the no cash policy been better advertised I would of been saved the embarrassment
Lovely roast dinner in a beautiful setting next to the river Thames. Staff very friendly and food is good quality with good size portions - you get what you pay for!
Lovely food and good service once it got going however drinks staff may have been understaffed had to go into ask if there was any service. Slightly let it down overall good
Food was average, was expecting more actually! service ok. A bit disappointed about the location, no attention to details, dining room very chilly, no smoking area. Overpriced.
The Service and food was at a very high standard and it all worked well with the current social distancing restrictions in place. Would recommend this place for Sunday Roast (beef in our case).
The food was very nice but overpriced for what is basically a no frills gastropub. The service was a bit disconnected at times, eg, we had to ask to order our food. The table we were seated at was ok but could have had a better view, we didn’t get a chance to choose the location. Music, decor and atmosphere were ok, not great. The restaurant is in a great location and branded under a famous chef but overall we wouldn’t go back.
Outstanding food... Worth every pound of it. Top notch customer service. Waiters are very welcoming and make it grest to dine. Excellent venue set. Gordon is really the best.
The menu said pancetta and no pancetta was served it tasted good though will order something else next time The atmosphere was nice though and it’s a great location
We had a wonderful time! Fantastic view and the food was delicious.
I really didn't expect the food to be as bad as it was. My wife ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the roast beef. The fish was completely tasteless with almost no seasoning. My beef was pull-apart tender but it wasn't seasoned the best. It also came to the table cold. We also were given bread that was hard and heated to only lukewarm. We really wanted to like the restaurant as it was our first time going to a Gordon Ramsey restaurant but for 100 pounds we weren't impressed. I will say the service was amazing with great staff and a beautiful view of the docks.
We got there waited 45 minutes for our starters it was the wrong ones wrong order we couldn’t wait any longer so we left service was not very good xx
Staff were welcoming and friendly. Resturant is on banks of the Thames, wonderful setting. My husband and I both chose burger, which was excellent but fried were very hard, disappointing. We have visited on several occasions but this time we were disappointed with our meal.
It was really nice to be back in a restaurant after 4+ months. This has always been one of our favourites, so great to see it still going. The menu was still good, as was the quality, with the exception of the stilton, which was part it's best. If it wasn't for that, it would have been perfect.
Food as always lovely However we were very disappointed when our bill came as it was clearly advertised on boards and on the menu 2 people 2 courses for 30 pounds This didn’t apply on Saturdays apparently so we were shocked to have to pay double what we expected We are regulars and will come again but this promotion is very misleading
Celebrated turning 18 years there. Overall amazing experience, cozy atmosphere, astonishing view, enormously quick service considering how busy the place was. And, of course, heavenly cuisine, especially sides – potatoes (both chips and mash) were unbelievable.
Had an absolutely lovely afternoon at the Narrow this weekend. Delicious food, great views and very friendly service, including for my 4 year old who has some food allergies - staff were extremely helpful with this. The free child meal with a paying adult policy also made our lunch good value for such quality food. Will definitely be returning.
Good morning , I have eaten many times in the narrow and o must say this was by far the worst one o have had . Our foot was either under cooked or over cooked , £32 for a steak that is not cooked right is a little pricey. One of my party had the burger and asked for medium / well , it was pink in the centre and she was to quite to complain . In short £206 for what we got way to expensive and we will not be returning.
With a view of the Thames, excellent service and perfectly prepared food (steak, haddock, chips, mushy peas, and sticky pudding). It was great!
Great location and lovely food
