The Pate portion has decreased in size, so much over the last 2 years, it is embarrasing. Yes c,osts have increased but so have your prices. The Sticky chicken was also disappointing as it was barely warm We dine with you twice per month. Not sure when we will call again

I am local and have always loved this place. I’m afraid we locals still refer to it as "The Foaming Jug". There is a lovely "olde worlde’ ambience about the place and the staff always so friendly and "nice". Needless to say the food is excellent.

Ordered the homemade pie of the day which had very little filling which had more carrots in than steak with very little gravy. Service and staff were excellent and had remided my complaint as expected. I would give them a second chance.

Called in at lunch time after dog walking and very limited choice for a light bite. Resorted to a starter of pâté which was very nice but toast was limited and had hardly seen the inside of the toaster.

One of our favourite local restaurants. The food is always excellent, and as a lovely old pub the ambience and atmosphere are lovely. Heartily recommended.

The staff were welcoming and polite. However the prawn and crab pasta was awfull. Three prawns and no crab not as described on the menu and definitely not value for money.

This visit was the worst experience that I have had at this location which one of my favourites usually. The service was charming, but did not compensate for the strangest tasting prawn cocktail, a tough gammon steak and very dry lamb kebabs. The drinks were fine.
