Staff were lovely our steak got sent to wrong table so gave us a fillet instead. Was absolutely amazing. And then gave us discount of our bill aswell. Restaurant is done our beautiful and really cosy. Definitely be back soon

Very welcoming and waited a reasonable amount of time for really nice meal I had gammon and it was lovely and cooked perfectly the chip were definitely 3 time cooked chips

The staff were so attentive…maybe because there were not many people in the restaurant. My husband (who has dementia) was ‘a bit awkward’ but the waiter dealt with his attitude brilliantly. …..I was so relieved.

I love the old farmhouse I have been dining there for sometime, the food was very well presented and very tasty as always only one disappointment was the rump steak my son ordered it was very fatty and they explained they’d had a few complaints but we were kindly recompensed! Would definitely recommend.

I have visited several times and always found the food and service excellent. The only minor criticism I would make was the surface on the table we used needed to be stripped and resealed because it was a bit sticky.

Been here on many occasions so decided to take two family members. Firstly was told only booked a table for 2 when I phoned up and asked for a table for 4 and told not a problem. Veg was very much undercooked! Also think prices for Sunday lunch is not a fair one compared to other places I've been to which is a lot cheaper and tastier. On the plus side seen one of your colleagues who has come back on board after leaving door a few years and came back to you. Nice that he remembered us. Forgot his name but lovely guy just a shame the food was not as good this time and a little embarrassed as always been really nice in past.

Took a visiting friend for evening meal. Booking on line was easy and as we were running a bit late rang to let them know and they kept table for us. Friendly waiting staff who went out of their way to make the evening memorable. Our friend has a specific food intolerance and they ensured all food was acceptable and even arranged for a specific sweet not on the menu to be available. They could not have been more helpful. The food was good and I particularly enjoyed the put lentil lasagne! We enjoyed our trip to the Farmhouse and would recommend it. The place is spacious and felt warm and inviting. Give it a go.
