The table over the river view, the space between the tables was excellent. The waitress friendly and efficient, the food delicious and taking our daughter and her friend out for a lovely lunch whilst studying in Nottingham, We all loved it. Thank you very much!

We had the Christmas menu and it was lovely. Great portions with crispy roast potatoes. However the service by Melanie is what really made the experience great for us. Very welcoming with a great personality and nothing was to much trouble. Melanie is a credit to the Otter and i am there again next week so will be looking forward to it.

The food choice was not as previously offered, you are trying to go very up market with the prices you are now charging although the food was good quality £16-00 to 17-00 for most of the main menu prices and £27-00 for steak is too high. With only 3 tables in from 7-00pm-9-00pm last night you need to rethink? with 4 drinks and 4 main courses only costing £82-00 and yet ten days ago we celebrated my wives birthday with a meal for seven for £216-00!!!. As we have been coming to The Otter for years it may be years before we come again.

Nice staff. Clean. Had fish and chips which was not quite as good as last time but normally their fish and chips are top drawer. No complaints overall. Will definitely go again (this wasn’t the first time)

We’ve been going to this restaurant for several years but it’s now pretty rundown and in need of major refurbishment, especially the toilets and the external painting. My wife is a minor shareholder and was concerned to see the recent deterioration. The location is very attractive and our waitress was superb.
