8/10We booked late lunch on Sunday- always a bit of a risk and indeed we were too late for the roast beef 😢 but we weren’t informed until we were asked for our order. We then waited quite a while for the food to arrive but it was great when it came.

7.5/10We are member's of a small group who regularly dine out at a variety of establishments. You asked for my honest experience here it is :- Food - very good Service - good although the person serving appeared harassed,under staffed? Ambiance /atmosphere - disappointing,not helped by the number of children running about for almost the entire duration of our meal.I lost count of the number of times their farther told them to sit down,to no avail. This was possibly aggravated by the position of our table (too close?) Would I recommend - probably not Will I revisit - unlikely,and certainly not early evening.

7.5/10Sunday roast lunch mid afternoon was delicious. The restaurant was busy and nice atmosphere. The service to our table was slow. Only had a main course and a hot drink and took two hours. Had to ask twice to get the bill.

8/10Two things that stopped me rating you a 10. The portion sizes are very large. Therefore there was no chance of most of our party of women having more than one course. Then the service charge was added automatically which I personally don’t agree with. Far nicer to be given a tip willingly for good service in my opinion. Otherwise good quality food, friendly staff and a generally nice place to have lunch.

10/10Lovely staff , great food and plenty of it. Cosy, comfortable pub. Had a really lovely birthday lunch and thank you for the bottle of wine, we really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back soon.

7.5/10Pretty pub. Waiting and bar staff lovely. Food very good and reasonable price. Man in charge needs to relax- his obvious anxiety adversely affects ambiance and makes him sound curt with customers.
