We wouldn't normally choose to go Italian but loved the tapas idea and all 3 dishes we had were so tasty. Dorset rabbit ragu, feather steak and earm porchetta salad. Would definitely recommend and revisit when next in Sherborne

This pub is lovely. The Italian style tapas is amazing but we need to learn not to order too much. The courtyard garden is what made the experience lovely for us - it is such a lovely garden & the eclectic music added to the overall atmosphere.

This is Sherborne's best place to eat. The service is brilliant, the food delightful and it feels really special. On warm nights nothing beats sitting in the little courtyard, sipping their delicious wine and savouring the small plates. I particularly liked the steak and the chicken which were both cooked to perfection.

The booking process was very straightforward. I did this online but within a few minutes, someone rang me to ask about the booking. I also received an email. The staff were very welcoming and we were shown to a table quickly. The staff were attentive without being over the top. The food was excellent and found it to be very filling.

Lovely visit as always. The staff and ambiance were great and made the evening most enjoyable. It may be my imagination but perhaps the wine list is getting a tad more pricey and, although it was totally our decision to include it in our otherwise perfect feast, the seafood dish kinda clashed with the other dishes.

We live in Spain so tapas style is our favourite way to eat. However this was a level up with gorgeous tasty dishes, well presented & full of flavour. As a pescatarian I was in my element with a wide range of choices, that would suit vegans & vegetarians alike. If you are in the area, you must go to this little gem. Excellent service from waiting & kitchen staff too.

Yet another exceptional visit to The Plume of Feathers. On this occasion with a friend who is vegetarian and follows a gluten free diet and without oil. Menu choices were easy and the food ingredients were well marked. The dishes we chose were delicious (the venison carpaccio and mussels were a huge hit) and as ever, we leave looking forward to another visit. Thanks to Tee and the team for their care and service, we will see you next time - hopefully it will be warm enough to enjoy the stunning courtyard.
