It was really easy to book the table for eleven of us online, I received confirmation straight away with the reference number I also received a reminder of the booking the day before. The table was ready for us in the conservatory when we arrived, our orders were taken and the food delivered, we were all pleased with our food. We weren’t rushed stall which was lovely for a family catch-up/birthday get together. We will deginitely be back. Thank you

Hi first time eating here Very nice Food was excellent lots of flavour Only negative was it was cold in the restaurant we did arrive 12 noon as soon as it opened but I'd of liked it a bit warmer inside. But that won't stop us booking another meal time

The roast dinners are absolutely incredible! The portions are very generous. Service is amazing wonderful staff who really went the extra mile to make our time there very enjoyable. Thank you for the cream too 😄

The Queen’s Head is becoming an exceptionally good place to dine. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. The sensible size of portions means that you can enjoy a three course meal and not feel that you have over eaten at the end. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Service is good and the time between courses was just about perfect. We look forward to our next visit.

We were seated in the restaurant and it was quite cold. People who were served after us got food before us and they had starters and roasts also Both starter and roast were pleasant but could have done with being warmer. Staff were friendly and pleasant.

Not been here before but we weren't disappointed. Chose to sit in the restaurant as it was much nicer ambience than the conservatory, I think that would be good for daytime visit. It was very quiet only one other table but very comfortable. Service was excellent, food outstanding. Would definitely visit again maybe for the lunchtime dea of three courses for £20 which is excellent value for the quality of the food. Would recommend you visit.

We were very impressed, service was excellent wasn't sure about which wine to have , so we were able to taste our first choice to then change and have what was recommended by the waitress initially! Food was very well presented, full of flavour and very good value. I would highly recommend. Can't believe the restaurant was so quiet when the quality is so good .

We have been here before and had an evening restaurant meal which we enjoyed, so we thought we'd try their Sunday lunch. The meal itself was lovely and served on hot plates. We would definitely go again.

On arrival bar staff preoccupied with regulars and left us waiting. Once seated drinks ordered bottle of wine dumped on table in ice bucket. Bread arrived but no side plates laid so held bread while applying butter. Meals arrived and were excellent very enjoyable, we will return and try bar menu next time.

The meal was good if a little late, 1 hour to wait, maybe because one couple got held up travelling and were a little late?.......people arrived after us were served before us. Otherwise would recommend using the place for further meals.

We went to this small local restaurant. The food was delicious, and the staff were very attentive. Unfortunately, there were some other diners that spent the whole night complaining about everything with one meal. The staff were amazing and dealt with it very professionally and promptly but still they kept going on. This slightly frustrated us. Maybe some background quiet music might have been a good idea.

As a last minute booking in the middle of Christmas party season you would be forgiven for thinking we would be served but not noticed (2 oldies out for Friday night!) nothing could have been further from the truth! We really felt valued as customers and were given every attention. Lovely evening, fantastic home made mulled wine!

Fish was bland and very greasy, sausage on kids meal was lincolnshire and we don't like lincs sausages, chip we're nice but quite dry, gammon was lovely but a bit too salty. Baby had chocolate ice cream and she loved it. Meals are overpriced but staff were very lovely and accommodating, pub is well decorated and nice atmosphere.
