Fabulous
Overpriced for portions and taste. Crab cakes were bland. Biryani was claimed to be in a sealed pot and was looking forward to an authentic dish, came in plastic lidded Tupperware - no nuts, egg,, Flavours/taste Not worthy of Michelin star restaurant.
Excellent, fresh food at reasonably affordable prices- good ambience and welcoming staff. Would recommend a la carte as better value, especially for the Mango Curry
This was my second visit to quilion. The first visit was amazing and left me wowed so decided to attend again with friends. We went for the tasting menu but this time found portions were smaller and the attention to detail was not there. I can say I was disappointed with my second visit.
Excellent meal and impeccable service
Tasting Menu @ lunchtime excellent and good value.Appreciate non tipping policy. What a refreshing difference from most other restaurants which have automatic add-ons.
Quilon is an all time favourite, their chargrilled scallops, crab cakes, kothu lamb and quilon fish curry are a must have every single time, some authentic yet global vegetarian keralite dishes like the spinach poriyal are excellent . The rasam that comes between meals is superb and have yet to taste as good elsewhere. It has been a regular haunt for us for a few years now . Any occasion or celebration calls for Quilon. I love the way they have retained their relaxed homely atmosphere despite the Michelin star status.
Food and service is beyond reproach. Everyone was so friendly and it was our favorite restaurant of our honeymoon!
Simple to book. Kind and approachable staff. Lovely food, but a bit too much.
Great food. Superb ambience. But service is very very slow
Really tasty meal, lovely little extras too and good service. The wine was very expensive and I'm not sure the overall cost was good value. It was like an extra special curry...but at 4 times the prices of a local curry house, I'm not sure it was worth it.
