This is the third time we have returned to Quilon. We travel to London every few years and look forward to going back to this restaurant. The service is excellent, both professional and also friendly. The food is exquisite! We treasure the available seafood dishes which are characteristic of the region of India they showcase. We will definitely be back in the future…this is an A plus experience.

5.5/10Quilon was simply disappointing and overpriced. We opted for the seafood menu, and while most of the food was good, nothing was the exceptional level that I'd expect from a restaurant of this supposed calibre. For example: a scalding broth was served without a temperature warning, my partner burnt his mouth drinking it and had trouble enjoying the rest of the meal. A small piece of black cod had over 10 bones in it, indicating a severe lack of care in preparing the meal. The kitchen noticed this and sent a new piece...that was an overcooked thin portion of the tail. Clearly not willing to 'waste' a proper piece, this ended up making what should have been a nice effort seem cheap. Some of the dishes, including the halibut, had sauces that had started to congeal. Highlights - the paratha and seafood biryani were good but nothing exceptional and I've had better at far more basic restaurants.

10/10They accommodated us even though we had very little time. They catered for our daughter who is gluten free, and provided excellent recommendations from the menu. We really appreciated the service and the no tipping policy - I guess it brings a more genuine motivation in the staff. We really enjoyed the lamb!

10/10Second time in this restaurant and it was as good as previously, enjoyed the seafood menu and I this I would enjoy the non-vegetarian as the vegetarian menus. The service is optimal and the food well presented. I enjoyed it very much

9.5/10Very fine dining. We both had the seafood taste menu. All was delicious! The spice was a nice level and added great flavour. Very fine wine and beer selection and a choice of fine cocktails as well. Great for a special night out.

8.5/10The first course was outstanding. Very creative, very nice textiures. The main course was good but not a lot better than in any normal Indian restaurant. The waiter made the impression of needing to sell as much as possible and was very unhappy that we did not choose the tasting-menu he recommended. I found that very patronising. All together not a place I'd visit again.

8/10I enjoyed my birthday lunch at this restaurant. My husband and I were initially the only patrons there and had our choice of a cosy table in the back. The lighting was dim and it was a calm atmosphere. It was not a typical Michelin star experience, but the staff were so polite and eager to please that it really made for a nice experience. And it lasted shorter than a typical Michelin star experience, although that worked well for our tight schedule (1 1/2 hours). The chef ensured I had some veggies with my meal (delicious spinach!) and made a special dessert for me to match my dietary requirements. The texture of the prawns in the curry dish was perfect and the portion of rice was spot on! The cocktails were fabulous! My last cocktail was brought much later than I’d ordered it and after asking for the bill, so I had no time to drink it. Although it was taken off the bill, it looked so delicious and so pretty that I had wished I had gotten the opportunity to enjoy it. Everything tasted nice, however there were so many strong/hot spices in every dish, overpowering the meal, that the individual flavours could not be experienced to their potential. Overall, a lovely place with lovely staff. I would highly recommend. Thank you very much Quilon!

8/10This restaurant is good, the food were yummy, I was there for the tasting menu alone. My view on general tasting menu is small portion, tasty, and unique. But this restaurant gave a bigger portion which I couldn't even finish and still made me feel full. Everything was simple, it's not a complaint but it could be better in portion or complexity and service (in term of explaining about the food, how it was cooked or what’s inside the food ~ at least I could get the imagination about the food before eating it. Because all of the name are foreign to me). :)

9.5/10This restaurant offers a fantastic travel experience in south Indian gastronomy. We have been welcome in a delicate and elegant way, with a very helpful attention to educate to indian cuisine all along the dinner. This was one of the best meal we have ever had in London.

8/10This is the first time that I have been to Quilon in many months because of Covid but I was delighted to be back. The food is as good as ever and the service charming and unobtrusive and I was pleased to see that they had added some really creative cocktails to their list. All in all, we had a lovely evening and I hope to return soon.

6.3/10This was my second visit to quilion. The first visit was amazing and left me wowed so decided to attend again with friends. We went for the tasting menu but this time found portions were smaller and the attention to detail was not there. I can say I was disappointed with my second visit.
