4/10It’s a restaurant of a hotel serving quite undescriptive “room service” food. Very young server. The barley salad was super small, do not order it. Very grateful for the discount, hard to imagine some people pay full price!

Mixed feelings on this one. Arrived at the right time. The restaurant is in the Thistle Hotel. Waited 10 minutes in front of the reception to see about the reservation. Completely ignored by everyone. Eventually went to the bar where a nice man showed us to the only table reserved in the bar. The only two customers there. He was very apologetic about the non greeting. Food was OK with the Fork festival price, but very bland and uninteresting. OK if you want a cheap meal, but don't go if you want something special. Thank goodness that the bar staff were so kind.

8.5/10Very good food and excellent service. Venue was very quiet (early Wednesday evening). Missed the hotel on the first pass - it's not The Kingsley Hotel as identified here, it's The Kingsley Restaurant at the Thistle Holborn Hotel.

9.5/10I liked everything, my salmon with risotto was absolutely delicious, the restaurant has a decent decor and the service from Maurizio was great. The music and the lighting should be modified - add dimmed lights and good music and this would be one of my favourite dining venues. I would repeat the experience.

10/10My boyfriend and I were in London to see 2 shows as we both work so hard and treats are important! Found this restaurant at the last minute and couldn't of been happier! The steak and salmon were amazing and the chocolate orange torte was outstanding!! Mauricio who served was absolutely amazing and very charming. The food was lovely and it was a lovely hotel. Totally recommend this.

6.5/10Not a satisfying experience… took an hour to get our food, although the restaurant served an extra starter for free (thank you btw), but main dishes were disappointing 😢 the steak was raw ( we ordered medium rare) inside and burnt outside, fish & chips were separated inside. How can fish & chips went wrong 😟 lovely service and politely attitude, but think a lot if you are rush in hour 🫥🫥🫥

5.5/10It was not a great experience. We had fish cake for starters and it was beautifully presented; alas, downhill form there. They came topped with a poached egg but one of the whites were still raw in the middle and the fishcakes were very salty. The Steak and ale pies were mediocre with soggy bottoms and the three or four pieces of beef in it had grizzle and was chewy. The gravy was watery, too light to be beef gravy and was flavourless. We ordered ice cream as they did not have our first choice for dessert and they got the flavours wrong . At first they only gave a partial discount despite taking a copy of our and also overcharged us for an extra dessert. The bill had to be sent back twice before they got it right.

2.5/10fish & chips of normal quality but with oxidized sauces and kept in bowls for a few days. as for the rib eye ordered medium cooked, it arrived overcooked. I asked for a replacement and the same steak came back even more cooked. of course it was taken off the final bill but the experience was equally bad. Goodbye

8.5/10I dined at a restaurant where the waiter, Anna, provided excellent service. Not only was she attentive to our needs, but she also respected our privacy during dinner. The restaurant offered a selection of vegetarian and pescetarian dishes, all of which were delicious. Overall, it was a great dining experience thanks to Anna's service and the restaurant's tasty options for non-meat eaters.

4.5/10The dining room was clean and spacious but lacked ambience and atmosphere. The chef refused to give us extra toast with the pate but he did with the Manager's intervention. The chicken Tikka masala was served with sliced bread instead of Naan bread and came with the managers apologies and a refund. They were few other diners .The bill arrived correct with the 50% discount and the refund. Without the discount it would have been a disastrous expensive canteen meal !

4.5/10When we arrived there was nobody at all, save a couple up near the window, and when I asked to be seated up there, the waitress said it was for afternoon tea only. Howvever, apart from the couple already there, no one else came all afternoon! The Gluten Free options on the menu were limited only to a choclate and orange torte, and I couldn't eat that anyway, being allergic to caffeine! The staff were very attentive however, and they did say that they could do various GF options, however, the chips are NOT fried in a separate frier, so if anyone is Coeliac, I would say, don't eat at this restaurant. The other thing that didn't go to well, was despite the three of us wanting a vegetarian club sandwich we all got a normal club sandwich and discovered that the waiter had put through the wrong order, despite being very "attentive" to our needs!! At least we got 50% off the food but only because of the offer that I had booked through the Fork otherwise it would have been very disappointing!!
