The food was terrible and over priced, rice was hard and bland. I had 2 fishcakes and a few new potatoes and 2 sprigs of broccoli for £16, never go there to eat.

I met up with a friend and we had lots to chat about… Our waitress Kas was patient and did not rush us. The food was hot and nicely served. Will definitely come again.

My midweek visit to the River Wyre restaurant was very enjoyable. The staff were attentive and helpful. There was a real fire burning and my favourite cocktail was made to perfection. My slow cooked belly pork was delicious.

Table was ready as soon as we arrived even though it was extremely busy. The food was excellent and the staff polite and respectful we had a great Sunday meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning.

First time we have been as a family for a long time. I think they must have had staffing problems as the service was poor with long wait times and forgotten orders. The food was good although could have been served hotter (mashed potato was almost cold). In fairness the manager recognised the issues and gave us a discount. I'd like to say we'll give them another chance but with so many other good eating establishments around the corner it's a tough decision.

A very disappointing Anniversary Meal. Only one main vegetarian/vegan option on the main menu and it was far too salty to eat. We would have had a dessert and coffees afterwards but the waiting team didn’t approach our table. In the end my husband went to the bar to pay and we left without having a dessert or after dinner drink.

good table and comfortable. partner had lamb trio and said it was very good. i had the special confit duck which was good, but relation of vegetables to dauphinois potatoes seemed a bit unequal.

I came here with my mother for my birthday. We hadn't visited for over 2 years for obvious reasons. We both had steak, it was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced we thought. The lady on duty was friendly and professional and all of the staff were really lovely. I would recommend and we will be going back. Just make sure you book as they are really busy but when you give customers good service and value for money then you are going to be busy.
