10/10We are habitual customers and this place is a guarantee for excellent food quality and pristine customer service. Today, both my husband's salmon and my sirloin steak were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. At some point we were feeling cold, as we were sitting near the window (amazing river view, by the way) and the waiter went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. He immediately offered an alternative table and redirected the heating towards us so that we could get warm quickly. If you want to have a high quality steak in a great setting with breathtaking river views, or if you want to impress guests visiting Cambridge for the first time, this is the right place for you.

5/10The staff were not very attentive, we had to ask to be served after waiting 20 mins, then we had to ask for more drinks, we had to ask for sauces to be brought over to the table. Just not very professional

9.5/10Food was excellent except for the macaroni and cheese…too light on the cheese! Ivy had the best Mac and cheese! Probably the best Filet I’ve ever eaten!! Drinks were nice, ambience was great! Our server was friendly, just seemed as though he had most of the tables so it took a while to get things in a timely manner. I’d definitely return! The restaurant was hopping..so make sure you try it!

10/10This is one of my favourite restaurants in Cambridge. The food is always delicious and well-presented, they have a very good wine selection, and their service is excellent. They certainly work hard at providing a top-notch dining experience.

5.5/10I chose this place because my wife loves steak and it was her birthday. The restaurant doesn’t have enough space for its demand, no parking, and we didn’t get what we ordered. I asked for medium rare ribeye steak, got it rare. The choice of drinks was good and the atmosphere looked busy. I’ve also ate at Varsity hotel and tasted way better than what we’ve had here. Unfortunately for us it wasn’t a great experience

2.5/10EAT OUT WITH MY WIVE 2/3 TIMES A WEEK AND HAVEN'T HAD ONE THIS BAD FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER ,BROKEN TIOLET DOOR LOCK, NO WELCOME JUST LEFT STANDING IN ENTRANCE , DIRTY GLASSS . 6/10Not a bad place to eat, but the toilet areas are appalling. They are filthy dirty with weeks of dust on and around the the sink area. I would have expected them to be kept clean as this does not give a very good impression $1$2$3$4

8.5/10Good quality food, nice staff very friendly and attentive. Had the tomahawk steak, asked for cooked medium but was definitely more medium rare. I pointed this out, they offered to rectify but we choose to have it as is. It was delicious. Would go again

4.5/10Well, 2 important issues we had (rest was fine) : 1. We specifically asked to wait that we drank our aperitif before being served - meal was served approx 5 min after the aperitif… 2. The lamb was delicious but only 2/3 was eatable - the rest couldn’t even be cut with a steak knife… Too bad !

9/10Very attentive staff and matre de, as always steaks cooked perfectly and wedges are delicious too, peppercorn sauce is nice but could do with a little more of it but apart from that the food and service is fabulous. Drinks wise it’s a shame there’s no craft beer on the menu as choice they offer is a little small and not up to date.

5/10No guts no glory. Meat is good as a raw material, but served with no soul in a red-hot pot that leaves all the grease and humidity in the same place. No sauce will save taste if the cooking is so basic and the serving so wrong. Affogato with expresso served in a spirit glass. The expresso that comes with the affogato is an… expresso, so it needs - guess what? - an expresso small cup! Serving it in a spirit glass, not only will chill it quickly, but will make it spill out when you try to pour it gently on the top of the ice cream, as the coffee is too near to the top of the glass. For £7,5 (for an expresso and two scoops of vanilla ice cream!) one would expect the bare minimum in care.

5.5/10It is just a noisy pub, with too many guests for only one waiter working alone. Therefore the service is quite slow. The prices are really too high for what is served. The quality is good, yes, but nothing exceptional. It can be a good place for a drink.

9/10Arrived late as we had been delayed but staff were terrifically helpful in getting us a table. Restaurant was busy and atmosphere was great. Service was spot on and we had a lovely meal. Will definitely recommend and will go back when we return to Cambridge

5.5/10We left hungry having spent £200 .The chateaubriand for (weight unspecified , £75) was tiny , and would have been reasonable for one person as a fillet. Likewise for the “4 small prawns on a stick” starter was pretty measly.
