10/10We visited the Robin Hood today to celebrate my husbands birthday. From the moment we arrived we were greated with first class attention. The decore and ambience wrap around you like a hug. Wroaring fires in every section added to the cosiness and charm. Our waitress, Emily, was very pleasent & attentive. We ordered our drinks which arrived very quickly and our food order arrived in a respectable time too. The menue has a great choice of meals to suit every pallet. Our meals were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. At the end of our meal Emily presented my husband with a complimentary plate with strawberries, ice cream and chocolate sauce saying Happy Birthday. Such a thoughtful touch, just adding to a throughly enjoyable, relaxing and memorable occasion. We will certainly be back! Thank you Emily and all the team at the Robin Hood. 😀

10/10Sheryl and Jessie took good care of us. The meals were beautifully presented and tasted gorgeous. The restaurant has had a complete makeover and it's very tastefully done.

10/10We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Robin Hood. Our server Laura was very friendly and efficient. When bringing our drinks she noticed something on the bottom of one of the wine glasses and immediately took it away and brought a new one. The food was brought promptly and all 3 dishes were delicious. We then all ordered the hot drink and mini pudding option. The portion size was still plentiful and good quality.

10/10The Robin Hood is our fav place to meet up with family, the staff are friendly, food is great & atmosphere is relaxed , so ideal for our little guests to get accustomed to eating out.

7.5/10The parfait starter was not well presented too much parfait for amount of toast a little sprig of greenery less parfait with tomato cucumber & lettuce would have made it value for money. The prawn cocktail looked as though it had been slung on the plate. The main course was lacking vegetables. We realised after the meal we should have ordered sides. It would have helped if the waitress had asked if we would like vegetables when she took the order . All in all it spoiled a birthday celebration. The ambience & wine were good but the food and presentation need improving to give us an incentive to return

8/10We enjoyed a tasty meal, served by an excellent waitress whose service could not be faulted - she did her best to ensure that we and my elderly mother were seated by a blazing fire - unfortunately the room was draughty with no closers on the entrance doors. one of which kept being left open by customers, and there was a second disabled entrance where the door had to be slammed to get it to shut properly. Good job the food was good! The toilets were also cold and one of the taps v stiff - could do with an upgrade. However, it is conveniently placed for us so we will probably return soon.

10/10As usual, greeting was friendly and table was as requested in a position of good light . Jessica was very pleasant took our drinks order and subsequently our food order. Both were delivered promptly and within a very reasonable time. We have visited this inn numerous times over the years on visits to the area and have yet to be disappointed.

10/10The food was beautiful me and my boyfriend had lasagna with French fries and salad and garlic bread we washed it down with 2 Long Island teas was a lovely cost atmosphere. Staff are amazing we will come again.

8.5/10A convenient stop for a meal when travelling on the M5, once one knows where it is. There is a pleasant atmosphere with a variety of areas to eat. The service was friendly and efficient. Our group of 4 all enjoyed their meals; a nice touch to finish the meal with a hot drink and a mini-sweet portion.

5/10The shared prawn cocktail starter was served without butter for the bread and no lemon. When asked for, it took some time for them to arrive. The one main course was cod with sweet potato fries. The piece of cod was minuscule to say the least and was over compensated with too many fries. The accompanying side salad was served without dressing even though it was requested. The last time we came, a few weeks ago, the meal was very good and that is why we returned. Doubtful we will come back again.

8.5/10A great service and tasty food. The food wasn't particularly hot, but that suits me as I don't have an asbestos mouth like some people. The place was ful with diners, so that's always a good sign. Would recommend and would dine there again.

10/10Regularly eat here as good quality food which is reasonably priced. The menu has good options including a decent vegan range. Resteraunt is well set out and you do not sit on top of other parties. Great service too. .
