The staff were lovely but the food came out very slowly. We had our starter and were waiting about 45 mins/ hour for the main. Food wasn’t that nice, fish and chips - the fish was very greasy and soggy and the chips definitely weren’t triple cooked, quite dry and pale. The steak pie was okay but a bit fatty. Overall not that impressed unfortunately.

The restaurant was very quiet upon arrival. We were seated quite quickly. After taking our drinks order, there was quite a wait, maybe there was a staff shortage? After the drinks arrived, we were looked after very well. The meals we ordered were enjoyed by everyone. I was satisfied overall with our dining experience at the Roundhay Fox,and would recommend.

Really enjoyed my afternoon meal with friends. Clean, courteous staff. Good service and food. Good covid precautions. Plenty of fresh air circulating
