10/10We had a puppy with us and all dogs were welcome, the food was fantastic as was the service. Never felt so at home in a pub everyone was so nice. Definitely go again.

10/10We were shown to a quiet corner which was ideal for the dog.There was a lovely open fire which enhanced the atmosphere and the food was delicious.The staff were all very friendly and the service was good

10/10The food was amazing (my wife and I had the VG starter and main -Thai inspired -absolutely awesome), the service was incredible, the venue exceptional. The only thing I would say is, we miss the chef who created such wonderful vegan options. It's the reason we came, the reason we recommend the Oak, and the reason (on this particular visit), we were disappointed that there weren't more of the fantastic plant based options previously available. That being said, we wouldn't hesitate to go back, what an awesome place 🤩 P.s. you can even stay over if you fancy getting a bit squiffy 😊

5/10Having extolled the virtues of The Royal Oak to my Mother in Law, it was disappointing that her rib eye pork steak was massively undercooked, pink and stringy.
