I love the staff in Seahorse Guilford. We always visit as a family of 5 including little kids, and they treat us very nicely. Our favorite food is their British pork belly, mushroom pizza, and fish and chips. Their starters are also nice too! Thanks Seahorse for our lovely Friday dinners :)))

10/10Delicious food and charming service. Such a beautiful pub - I love the decor and the ambience. The prices have gone up a bit since we last visited a year ago, but that's true everywhere.

6.5/10Food is always good at the Seahorse but the service today was slow and forgetful. The manager needs to put a sign on the inside and outside of the backdoor into the restaurant to ask people to close the door - it was a freezing cold draft coming in and we got up a dozen times to shut the door!

6.5/10I have eaten before at the Seahorse with friends. Today the main meal was ok but the dessert was as though it was a "ready pudding", the crumble was not very hot and the apple did not appear to be fresh and the custard powdery. Coffee and Latte were luke warm and the cup and saucer for the tea for my friend was dirty and had to be returned for clean ones.

10/10I love the Seahorse, the decor is just beautiful. Our food was delicious and the service was charming and efficient. Nice and quiet today, so perfect for a good catch-up with my friend. The prices have crept up a bit since my last visit (last year) but it's the same everywhere.

10/10Fantastic food and service was excellent. Don't recall the Waitress' name but she was smiling and prompt and polite, top marks. We had the steak baguette which was cooked perfectly and a lovely pint of neck oil. Will definitely return when I'm back in Guildford.

6.5/10The fish and chips wasn’t particularly good, too much batter on the fish. The dessert was expensive and very small. I’ve always really liked The Seahorse but was disappointed this time.

8/10The service was very slow which was unusual, however we didn't mind s gave us time to chat. The food was excellent as always. it was a little noisy as it was very busy.

5.5/10Choose carefully from the menu. I had the posh fish finger sandwich but do not recommend it as you're paying mainly for bread, batter and chips.

10/10Found the ratings really good so booked a table for a business meeting with colleagues from Italy. Service was great and the food was amazing. my guests had the burgers that went down really well! Will be returning very soon with my wife for a social visit rather than work!!

10/10Drove past it on the way to Barnet Hill Hotel. Made a booking via The Fork App and had a lovely walk there through the countryside. Excellent service and top quality food and drinks. Highly recommend it

8/10Lovely, friendly staff. Great service. Not SO impressed with some of the food. The chef had left & I believe the manager was standing in. He needs to change the way he does roast potatoes as they were not great all all, I’m afraid. Also the crackling was a big square piece, that was very tough to bite into & didn’t taste of pork fat - very manufactured taste! A tad disappointed.

8.3/10Excellent service and good menu choice. Children’s menu was ‘non-beige’ which was great but it might have been nice to have had some simplification suggested as our 3 year old was overwhelmed by his roast (we’ll know for next time).

5/10No matter when we visit the service is dreadful - requests made are NEVER honoured - food never hot- staff pleasant but most definitely a shortage of kitchen staff (it seems)- we have been 5 times now - meeting friends at a half way stop but NEVER agan
